I f mum is well & feeding ok I suggest u assist the babies to suckle thus producing more milk from mum,hold each pup On the nipple Supporting its chin as it suckles ,keep them warm do not let them chill , you could also try beef liver t remedy if they are strong enough to suckle .What kind of bottol r u giving them & r u berping them after supp feeding ? R they pooing & weeing ok ,Is mum toileting them ?if not u need to asist with this .
  5. why not buy a picnic blanket Or make some rugs with waterproof backing to place on the bed for him to sleep on .
  6. Agree withAziah ,we need more info ,try feeding mums food @ room temp .Mae sure bubs r hydrated & warm .

Jamison ,You have had a lot of good advise & caring folks follow yr thread ,but under false pretences sadly ,you may not fully comprehend the back lash u r now recieving from we registared breeders , .There is so much to learn ,& I for one ,am still learning after many years of breeding ,this is a fantastic site & one cannot fault they information provided by those of us that have had experiance both good & bad . PLEASE take Steves advise ,A good recomendation to start with & also if u wish to have continued support from breeders ,do the right thing & become registared as one !!! WE are all devoted to the welfare of our dogs & the welfare of those pups less fortunate then the ones planned by registard breeders . WE Learn from our mistakes ,pls learn from this experiance .

  9. hi ,do u have confidence in yr vet ???? im surprised he/she hasnt wanted to sight yr dogs wound @ least . the antibiotics will take a while to kick in ,if this was my dog id be seeking a second opinion NOW .

  11. Easier said than done i know, but try relaxing, pearl is probaly picking up on yr tension . Will check back in the morning trusting there will be bubs .
  12. No way is it cruel or should the dog be pts ,dogs ajust to thier blindness & the other sences take over ,if she is loved & cared for by her owners ,then bless them for loving her disability & all .

  15. I do not feed roo meat ,but have been told by others that do, it can be to rich for some dogs & causes the runs as well as vomiting .
  16. The wound needs to be kept dry ,I suggest a vet visit asap ,if she is feeding bubs & not wanting to be with them ??

As a breeder I am only to happy to educate any one that enquires after my breed, wether they want a pup now or not ,what really gets to me is when people ring to come look @ the litter they bring uncle tom cobbly & all, its simply a day out for the family & the kids to see the cute little puppies . I sincerly believe that some people believe we breeders have nothing else to do but entertain them !!!!!

  19. As long as he is in a draft free zone he will be fine ,I have a bitch that insist on sleeping outside, despite being an indoor dog ,a coat wouldnt go astray though .
  20. Sounds like an upset tummy, if he has eaten grass ,they do this to help bring up something they dont want in thier tummy , I wouldnt be to consaerned ,but a vet check would be a good move . pls keep us updated .
