Generally I yell at my dog to stop barking but there are occasions when I let her bark. We have some horse riders who ride around and around in circles outside our fence and Raspa goes beserk barking at them, I asked one of them one day why they do it and apparently it is to train their horses not to be spooked when a dog barks at them. I do understand their reasoning but it is bloody annoying when my poor dog has to get yelled at and into trouble just so they can train their horses.

I just couldn't believe it when I read the Rocco had died, never met him but loved looking at the photo's of him and Ralph. I am sooooo sorry for your loss. RIP Rocco :D

Do you feed your dogs fruit? Yes, if I am eating it. If so, which fruit? bananas, apple, watermelon, pears, used to be grapes but discovered they were a no no. What do they love? Raspa will eat any fruit that I am eating, but if I am not eating it then she is not interested What is their favourite? She doesn't have a favourite it is whatever my favourite is at the moment. What is really good for them? Don't know but the drool tells me that she wants to eat it

Raspa is 6 and still does this, when we are playing tug with her rope you pat her on the head or touch her feet and she is all growling and sounds like she is about to rip you to shreads but at the same time she is wagging her tail like mad, as soon as you say ok that's enough she will let go of the rope and stop growling but then if she hasn't had enough of playing she will put the rope back in your hand so that you can keep playing with her.

Hi everyone I'm fairly new to this site so don't know the answers to a lot of your questions so was wondering why grapes are a big no no for dogs, my dog loves them and will eat them if she gets a chance, she also eats bananas, are they ok? Thanks Tracey
