oh and i was almost tempted to use this photo, as i love the way the gum is

and now for some of the outtakes, all of these were early on in the shoot, took us about 60 photo's to get the hang of it (both photographer and model lol) this was the first photo, after we realised how difficult blowing bubbles was now that we were adults and now some of the hilarious facial expression that she was pulling without realising, every couple of photo's i'd have to stop coz i was pissing myself laughing at her, and then she would too after looking at them

now, i need help choosing between these 2 photos for bubblegum. i'm leaning towards this first one, as it was the one that whilst still on the camera i thought was a better shot but this one, i thought was more original after i got them off the camera

i've been considering upgrading my dslr (nikon d40) for a little while now, and have started researching over the last few weeks. i think i want to upgrade to the new d3100 and i've found a good deal on digitalrev for it. originally i did a price comparison search on getprice.com.au and went through the list, the price i've found is about 300 cheaper than the store i went to today, and has an extra lens (only the nikkor 50 1.8 D) thrown in. just wondering if anyone has bought from them? i'm only going to upgrade if i'm successful in a job i interviewed for a week ago, and am also considering asking the store if they'll match the price.

that's ok. i thought it was a long shot and wasn't a lot of notice. i didn't really know what my plans were with family until closer. i am alright. bit nervous when cars approach an intersection where i have right of way, car has finally been fixed almost a month later! just picked it up this afternoon

i wouldn't have a clue how to pull the metadata off it. i have a mac and only use iphoto for editing.

can you use a picture taken from before the comp that fits the brief? i'm struggling with ideas for a couple and was looking through my iphoto and found a pic that fits one of the briefs perfectly

i haven't been able to find more confetti too, closest i came were those plasticy ones, which would been too heavy i imagine

i've done bubble gum, just got to edit it. i have my sound, not sure it's good enough, as subject is so far away, but as the rest of the pic is clear it'll have to do. i have a couple of ideas for the confetti and incense, but not sure if they'll work. no idea how i'm going to do the droplet one yet, but this one i have to focus on first, as it's due first. i kinda have ideas, but no idea what surface to do it on.

sorry have only just got net access after not having it at my aunt and uncle's house in newcastle (their internet wasn't working properly) and the maca's wifi i tried kept disconnecting me, and loaded pages too slow. i am finally in canberra. had a small car accident as i was leaving newcastle yesterday morning ;) if any other time suits anyone, let me know. looks like i'm shopping tomorrow, doing dfo and i can't remember what else. friday we'll be doing the tourist stuff in town (war memorial etc). saturday, can't remember am, but doing floriade in the afternoon and night. sunday i'm going to canberra glassworks in the morning, some markets and i can't remember what else monday i've forgotten too (i have a list somewhere lol)

that's ok. completely understand. have had a pretty good time except for the car accident i was in yesterday morning leaving newcastle ;)

i've tried finding the cheapest price for the next lens i want. i borrowed one of dad's lenses to take on my road trip and tested it out today and am very impressed with it's quality compared to the kit lenses i have, and the fact it's both my kit lenses in the one lens (so no swapping needed). it's a Nikon DX - AF-S Nikkor 18-200 1*3.5-5.6 G ED if i bought this lens, i would intend to ebay my kit lenses, but suck at searches to compare prices on lenses. can anyone help me find a cheap price for this lens? thank you rushed photos i took here pics with the dslr were from the seagull to the footprint in the sand. everything else was my point and shoot
