  1. Not much to add Kirislin, except for huge cyber hugs from the whippets and I ;) ;)
  2. A familiar sight. My line is full of dog blankets at the moment, as it often is.
  3. Of course! Four whippets cannot resist snuggling, it's what they do This photo was taken about 10 minutes after Mindy and Whiz met Daphne (in the middle)
  4. Yeah alot of people call them a Maltese Terrier. Even in the veterinary industry (which I am in) it is very common too.
  5. A Maltese is not a terrier at all. They're in Group 1 (Toys). Terriers are Group 2
  6. One of my boys does this each day when I get home from work. As soon as I come in the door, he trots a lap of the house, them comes to touch my hand then another lap and so on. Does up to about 10 laps :D Very cute! It's just his way of showing his excitement.
  7. So glad to hear it's not too serious. :D Hugs from my three whips (who are all sound asleep on the couch at the moment).
  8. Just remember it will stain anything at all it comes into contact with- purple then brown- so be careful. Does work very well though.
  9. Correct me please if I'm wrong, but I didn't realise a Mini Foxy was a recognised breed here in Australia Or elsewhere for that matter?
  10. I have something in my eye, must be dust Truly beautiful video. What an amazing dog.
  11. It's horrifying. Poor bloody animals. Apart from the poor creatures getting torn to shreads, what about the pet dogs contracting diseases such as rabies?
  12. I don't leave toys outside or in the dogs runs. Two of mine get jealous when it comes to toys and are likely to have an argument. They're fine inside with them though. Every week or so I go (with dogs in tow) to the cupboard in the spare room, and both Whiz and Elliot stick their heads in and choose one each. That's our rotation.
  13. Yep water is fine. I always advise clients to leave water available overnight, and take it away when they wake in the morning.
  14. Yes that's a good point. As a vet nurse all the ones I pick up are hot and super smelly. Also from dogs who eat god knows what Unfortunately Pal farts and poos are all too common.
  15. Guess I don't have this issue. If the dogs are at home (we have 10 acres) they're all my dogs turds. Also, mine aren't off lead anywhere in public, so there's no uncertainty!
  16. OMG I have a dirty mind. **Must remind myself this is a DOG FORUM, nothing else**
  17. Hell No!! Give me a cold turd to pick up over a warm one anyday!!
  18. I've spoken to Bayer about stick fast fleas. Both Advantage and Advocate will kill them. However they don't drop off the animal. You still have to pick them off once dead.
  19. Great post koalathebear I agree with all that you've said here. My problem (just like in your post) is not the type of meat/animal eaten, but the way in which it's reared/housed/slaughtered. I think most, if not every race/culture/religion has and probably will have forever, some practice with which I do not agree. I won't accept this. I will just continue to be repulsed and disagree.
  20. Point taken Chichihuahua. I could've written it another way, and I agree it is a tad hard on the internet to get the message across with the correct tone/meaning etc. The reason I mentioned my Chinese friend is that a great deal of the information has come from her. Other things, as you've said are videos etc on the net. On some things though, we might have to agree to disagree and just be done with it.
  21. I know you're entitled to your opinion, but in no way did I apply my comment to the entire nation as you put it. Where did I say all Chinese people are barbaric FULL STOP. Their culture and everything else they do? And no I wouldnt find it offensive if all Aussies were called uncivilized and bogan. Frankly, I wouldn't care at all. One doesn't need to travel to "understand" what happens. FYI I have a Chinese friend who now lives in Australia after immigrating about 4yrs ago.
