How old is she? I had a similar problem with my staffy girl around the 6/7 mth age. Took her to the vets...nothing wrong took her to the chiro....same it seemed worse when she had been resting and would get better as she moved around so resting was no help. It did come good in its own time...around 4 weeks. Still dont know what it was, maybe just growing pains. I know this is not of much help, but it may make you feel a bit better I took her to a lovely chiro near Sunbury, I believe it was George..I know he has been mentioned on here before so hopefully someone will be able to give you his details as unfortunately my phone has erased most of my contacts  Good luck

My staffy boy had a nasty run in with a car in july 07. As a result he had to have pins in his front left leg and foot. Now the bones (he was left with) are fused and while he won't be winning any beauty shows, he is more than able to run amok (in short burst) with his 9mth old counterpart. Was a costly experience but one I would definately do again, verry happy with his results. Big thumbs up to the vets and nurses at Ballarat Vet Clinic :D

I have 2 staffs, 1 of them it removes heaps, the other it pulls out verry little. Maybe it's not the breed but the dog itself. Still it works wonders though so big to the furminator.

I've been wondering about diy hydrobaths. I havn't used one as yet but have been contemplating it to save my back. I wanted to know what you would use to rinse it out with before and after you used it or if that was done by the operators. Or am I just being a bit paranoid??

I'm with you missmaddy. There are too many different varients to the raw meat diet. Maybe if there was a weekly structure you could follow until you became familiar with it. I know that would make me feel a bit more confident that i was feeding correctly. Until then I guess i will just continue with dry and the varied meats and bones they are getting now. By the way, they certainly appear in good health, good coat shine and muscle development.

yep, i get the vague idea but being a bit on the hot and not functioning side at the moment would appreciate a full step by step instruction. what do you mean by chicken frames???in my mind at the moment i am picturing a skeleton??? please bear with me, once i get the basic recipe i'll be right to add my own variations. vegie pulp??? is that just another name for mixed vegies or am i missing something here as well??? yes folks are dumb where i come from lol

hey westie lover, maybe contact Virginia Fregusson. She is a herbalist who had a natural worming treatment for horses. She might be able to help you http://www.herbalhorse.com/products/index.html scroll down to anti parasite and gut health mixtures. Not promising anything.

Thanks guys, he is wormed monthly with guardian chewables, don't have any flea issues either so i'm thinking it is the gland thing. Don't worry i have no intention of trying to squeeze em myself looks like it's a trip to the vets for spikey lol

I took my pup to George, a 1 1/2hr drv to be told she was fine, verry reassuring, verry reasonably priced ( almost have to force money onto him), and one of the most pleasant gentleman you will ever come across. If i am ever in doubt again i would not hesitate taking the drive there if just for the peace of mind.

Just wondering, when you have shows on each weekend do you wash your dog each week? Wasn't sure if that would cause problems or not.
-
i also use the wipes, only for small things, obviously you arn't substituting them for a wash aid. friends of mine have newfoundlands and they opt for "goober rags" giant bibs as a way of cleaning excessive drool from their dogs.
