As i posted in a previous thread it was mentioned to me that alot of people arnt entering our group anymore due to certain dogs winning predominantly. I personally wouldnt be put off by this, no dog is unbeatable and it makes the time you do beat it even more memorable IMO. Im only showing for the fun of it I also enter pointscores for the fun of it. I must admit some of the dogs who are doing alot of wining lately are stunning dogs and well deserving of the wins, all groups included there :D I would think in the long term that judges like the one you mentioned will attract low entries thus discouraging the show comitees from selecting them in the first place......well we can only hope :D

yep, next show isn't 'til the end of Feb (if they accept the late entries) so I can't even live vicariously I will have to bug you instead Is that the Bendigo shows SP Hope you can make it :D

rumour has it people in group 2 have been put off by a certain dog winning "all the time" :D Id like to think that maybe they just have other things on But if it is the case then Im sure that the ones who are confident in their dogs and enjoy showing will still be there Im going to Ballarat on the Sunday as we dont normally go to the Park unless its a Spec or a fav show. '

I was told by my vet that any registered breeder with over 6 dogs are supposed to microchip all puppies. I microchipped my litter mainly because i figure if worst came to worst an even if they dont transfer details they will contact me should anything happen to them

SBTCV champ shows Sunbury Melb Royal Sporting Terrier And the Bendigo weekend in Feb

As you can gather I have noticed the flies are biting the edges of my dogs (Staffords) ears. At the moment I am puting Filta Bac on it as i figure it can be used to treat cuts and wounds and it also acts as a barrier. Does anyone have any better suggestions or is their a fly repelent type cream for these situations. Any suggestions apreciated

Well I can't wait. I think it's great that these clubs have made such an effort to improve showing conditions for everyone involved. Lets hope they get some good entries to show our apreciation. What an added bonus for me that it happens to be my local show.
