  1. 2 of my bullie girls were desexed at 6 months with no health impact. Maybe I was lucky (My ff boy was over 2yo when desexed) Would I desex early again? YEP!
  2. I haven't noticed any probs with the extras. My bullies get stuff added to their kibble (holistic select). It might be raw meat, chicken necks, barf patte, egg, yoghurt, sardines or cheese (I know... but they love cheese) They also get a lamb or a turkey neck once/week. They have mighty shine to their coats and the pearly whites are pretty good too.
  3. Both! The bully team would go crazy without their ~5.30am and 7 pm walks
  4. Donation done. Hope it helps a bit For those donating via paypal... You'll need to click the update amount button on the paypal log-in page otherwise you can't log in. (I thought my password was gone )
  5. Just an idea for whatever it's worth... Why not continue the dry food of your choice and feed raw 2 or 3 times per week. You may find that buying bulk and freezing with lots of veg and pasta/rice is a good solution.
  6. I have 3 bulldogs They are independent and generally work for payment aka treats/praise. If I continually fail to pay - they go deaf. There is an interesting book "So your dog is not Lassie". It may help you understand your dog's "stubbornness"
  7. I will help ($) with transport or vet fees. Pls pm me if you need my help. Gawd.... How does one even try to explain/comprehend such level of human cruelty?
  8. Jules, the breeder of my dogs uses Supercoat sensitive with fab results. Mine are on Holistic EP because I like it I tried Canidae. What a shocker for us - sore tummies, runny poos and general 'unwell-being'. My sister also tried it for her dogs and both became very itchy and uncomfortable. She's decided to try Supercoat sensitive in the near future.
  9. Yes, they are "killers"...... of sofas, cushions, stuffed toys, etc Love the breed
  10. Another one who does not like marrow bones. My 3 bullies are fed lamb necks and have been taught to stay on their special 'bone matts' until they've finished. Bones have very high value, so I also supervise the proceedings to make sure no one attempts to 'share'
  11. Wow... she is beautiful! Did she post her own pic? Obviously, she is multi-skilled and computer ops are just one of her many talents
  12. dogslife ;) - now I need the pic of the smarty pants limp-er
  13. We've done it with a great outcome. My titanium implant girl is going strong after 4 years. She is only 28kgs but I understand that the op is the same for dogs over 10kgs.
  14. One of my bullies is a great ratter/mouser. The other two just faint at the sight of a rodent
  15. As others said re behaviourist and other great advice. You need guidance, patience and time to integrate this beautiful girl into your household. My rescue boy was reacting in a very similar manner when he arrived. He was not "aggressive". He was just very scared and did not understand what was happening. It took me 3 months to fully integrate him into our family.
  16. ***grabs the doglets and hides*** Thank you for the lovely comment.
  17. Thank you so much for the recommendation This will be our first time together without the kidlets in such a looooong time. We are going to visit China again so taking them with us is not an option at all.
  18. Can anyone recommend a really good kennel in Sydney? (We are planning a mini holiday. It's first time without the bully-kids in 6+ years.) Many thanks
  19. All done Julie :-) (I've thinking when pay comes in but it seemed more urgent now.) Thank you to all wonderful helpers
  20. I don't post often but OMG lilly you have me 'busting at seams' and mighty angry. In these circumstances a little compassion is in order.
  21. Love this one Shows their personalities so well
  22. Hope Portia is feeling better. In people, ulcers are beautifully treated with linseed. Boil really well to get whitish glutinous concotion. Drink/eat when cool . It lines the stomach and allows the body to heal. This is our family recipe for stomach ulcers. Please check if it's ok for dogs
