This morning little snow white went to sleep and didn't wake up. RIP little baby
-
Toller babies have arrived 4th July - it was only a week ago that I took her to the vet unsure if she has reabsorbed all of the babies or not and we have ended up with snow white and her 6 brothers. I thought we had finished when we got to # 6, we had changed all the bedding and cleaned up, but she had other ideas. Mum and babies are all well.

Sorry to hear this Bel. Can you ring your vet and ask if there is anything you need to worry about or do?

I ended up having an ultrasound done on my girl and I can confirm that she is pregnant. I think babies are due 4th July, Vet says more like 7-10 days from yesterday. So I am getting a little bit excited now

Agility Nationals 2014

Wow the WA dogs had a fabulous day today (open) and winning the teams event yesterday Its been a few years since that happened. -
My litter isn't looking very hopeful now either. Vet confirmed babies a week ago 4 possibly 5 and then 4 days later we noticed her waist was not as big or as hard as it was. Vet thinks she is reabsorbing. Her size is staying the same at the moment - no bigger and no smaller. At this stage I am not going to ultrasound or Xray. She is as bright as a button, eating well and perhaps getting puffed a little quicker when exercising. Not sure what to think

Dog Allergy Testing And Allergy Injections
Ptolomy replied to PepitoVFR's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I guess its hard to say because its not like you wake up one day and the dog is cured. It was probably over 2 years, maybe 3 years before I really acknowledged she was so much better. She was a mess to begin with and the vet took photos of her and uses them in her lectures for uni students. She was so bad that if I dropped a chicken chunker on the ground and she got it - her ears would go bright red within 24 hours and she would get pustules and end up on antibiotics. The first 12 months were tough. She couldn't handle the usual dose of immunotherapy, which was 1ml every 4 weeks - so after trial and error she ended up on 0.1ml every 4 weeks. There was a big break through when I started her on evening primrose oil (on advise from the dermatologist) - 4000mg a day within 2 weeks the differences were amazing. I can now give her a chicken chunker and know she will not go into meltdown, she has been off Zyrtec for a couple of years, but did have a bad patch probably 12 months ago - where I put her back on them for 6 weeks, but was able to get her off them again. You can see her in my signature - dog second from the right. -
Dog Allergy Testing And Allergy Injections

My dog is now 8 1/2 and has been having immunotherapy injections since she was 12 months of age. We have been able to stop the daily Zyrtex and she is much much better than she used to be. Her injections are now 5 weekly. -
and now the cost for 10 days in quarantine is more than the 30 days it used to be + the expense to fly the dog west after quarantine

Thanks CC and Rubystar - I am sure come 6 weeks I will be screaming out for help :-)

Fantastic photo CC News Update - we are expecting babies here - 4th July. Nothing has gone to plan so it will be interesting to see what happens from here on in.
-
Hey Pie are you off to the Nationals??
-
Day trials I like 9am, but given the choice I must prefer night trials - starting at 7pm

Maybe toller babies due 4th July. I am not going to ultrasound and absolutely nothing has gone by the book this time, but things tells me she is pregnant.

Hmm rethinking getting one for one of my kids. Is this company in WA? Just wondering if I can go in and try one on? -
I'm with tassie - tiny brags are terrific - so well done and keep them coming

Hey I am a bit slow sometimes and have finally put 2 and 2 together - I have just seen this on Oz Obedience - well done CC on both your rally results and your first pass in CCD. and the State Champs is a great place to do well. Good luck in your next 2 passes. We have all suffered from bad handling days.
-
Great work Tassie - your lil big man is really clocking up the rally passes in a big way - well done. As for the old girl, they all have don't hafta days, that's what makes the OMG she did it day, extra special.

There are only 2 Grand Obedience Champions in WA, I have one of them, but today I got to the take the other one into UD. Thank you Bedazzled for trusting me enough to take Brookie into the ring. Needless to say it was a lot of fun and bless his cotton socks he coped really well with everything I threw at him. and we passed and won the ring. If ever I was going to change breed - I think an Aussie would be top of the list.

Go Tassie Go Tassie Go Tassie Another fantastic weekend for you and the kids. Lovely to hear the old girl is still enjoying her outings and I bet you needed to have your running shoes on to keep up with Rory

So was it with Jovi, Darcy or Nova???????

What a weekend for you Rubystar and the little Ninja - what a star. Now where's the video.......
