  1. Well done SLLH - yep a pass is a pass Ruby was terrific - full marks for her SFE Maybe I need to put that in large font.... Full marks for her SFE
  2. What a great start - first trial and two first places. A terrific effort - well done Amy and Trixie
  3. UDX last night - himmmmm on the negative side the occasional clever one brought the wrong seekback back - the correct one was over near where the judge was standing and it was way to scary to go there. He also sat just outside the cones to the left again. But on the positive side - everything else was really really nice and he was a happy happy boy . UD on the negative side - he didn't leave me when I sent him to find the seekback. On the positive side - hmmmm there was none we called it quits and left the ring
  4. Good news Boxagirl Do you have to go back again?
  5. So does everybody have a release word then?
  6. I use "WAIT" for everything....and its contagious as I can even have Stay people using Wait on a Stay
  7. The kids can sit in the car and you park around the outside of the rings
  8. Woo Hoo terrific news Quick rush out and enter a trial I returned home this arvo and just did 30 seconds in the hall with each of the kids, cos its raining outside, and I am sure if I had said fly to the moon they would have all given it a go. They were all like dogs with new batteries It will be interesting to see what happens at the trial tomorrow night.
  9. Hey wuffles - I believe you had some fun in Strat pairs on the weekend ;)
  10. Well done - nice to have letters at both ends of her name
  11. Huski - do you mean training bag as in one that you wear around your waist? If so - then I don't. Thats what pockets are for IF you mean what do I put my treats in to bring to training - that would most probably be a reused Coles type plastic bag which usually sits on the front seat of my car.
  12. So Seita - which class are you and Ella aiming for a 200 in? and are you going to give UDX a go?? Good Luck - a 200 is something very special
  13. Because of my Tonka Car set up the only threat to my treats is Aex the toller jumping in the front seat and stealing them. He is one of a kind
  14. Good pickup SecretKei. I have my fingers crossed she is OK
  15. SLLH - have entries closed for that trial?
  16. Nope - stranded on the other side of Oz for a wee bit longer. Back on Thursday :D
  17. This is Queensland we are talking about The UD judge said that he did things differently to most other judges cos he didn't do the Xmas Tree heel pattern and was very surprised when I told him that Queensland was the only place where you got every position in every pace in CCD. I did enjoy the UD ring the other night. I forgot about there being a mat for the scent articles and I opted for the ground and with the grass being so long, and lighting not great - you couldn't actually see the wood or leather articles, so it became another seekback . Also, Brookie and Scoota do seekback by sight, because of the lebgth of grass Moo was forced to use his nose - very interesting...... This is the third time I have edited this post Kallistar - in every state other than Victoria you are told where to take up position for the scxent articles and wash cloths, Victoria is the only place where you can choose where to send your dog from. I remember Margaret Deakes giving me a choice when we did the Nationals there a couple of years ago - it nearly did my head in - too many choices
  18. Hard to believe that the agility trial went for 10 hours Well done Amypie, Rubystar and Jess and yes think we all agree - bring on the night trials
  19. Deb is the reason Scoota is still trialling, Beans is still walking, Lexi is still alive and numerous other kids are able to get on with life. I hope she can help you and Bondi CC hows Louis today?
  20. Advanced Rally mock trial WOW - so no excuses for not tackling CCD - well apart from those blasted stays. Well done to you and your little big man
  21. I am in Brisbane with a dog - due to fly back to Perth with Qantas on Wednesday. I came home last night following a trial and after a 35 minute wait - booked a flight home with Virgin on Thursday - yes they were giving existing Qantas passengers a 20% discount and although it was super expensive - I am just happy to have a direct flight home which had spare room for a dog. I hung on for 90 minutes today starting at 6am trying to get onto Qantas to cancel my flight - but in the end gave up.
  22. Distance Control was Down, sit, stand, sit, down, stand Seekback we were facing down the ring - they were long rings. Cloths were in a pattern I hadn't had before - 4 along the back row - three in the next row and then 2 at the front. The designated cloth was in the front row. PIM - stand position coming up......now....about turn and then it was collect your dog while you were walking away from your dog. He did all the PIM first - then we had all three positions in normal pace, slow pace and fast pace. In UD last night - the signals heel pattern we started off in slow pace!
