Hey Emery - I think I am show weight at the moment and not anything like the lean agility condition I should be in Vet West was very good when I rang them tonight - but then all I needed to know was if they have ever seen the dog - so I was only on the phone a matter of 10 seconds. Murdoch were terrific and what's more - they didn't charge to do it I need a like button Amypie - that's the sort of dealing I have had with them regardless of when I have fronted up or what for.
-
Yes I am - and tonight when I rang them - after just having got off the phone from Applecross the receptionist was brilliant, no brick walls put up, no delays and with the minimum of fuss. Every dealing I have had with this practice has been impressive from all members of it.

I made my first pet insurance claim 2 weeks ago, the vet signed the forms and wrote what I saw them for, I attached the bills and the test results and I thought everything was going to be honky dorey How wrong was I. I received 2 letters today - because I put in 2 claims - saying - please provide a full history including vet notes of every vet she has ever seen, even if it is unrelated to this claim Well thanking my lucky stars she is one of the healthy ones so hasn't been to many vets - well so I thought - and then I remembered hip x-rays at Applecross, heart ultrasound at Champion Lakes, Murdoch, usual vet is Ranford, but it used to be Vet West - ARGH so I have to ring them never wanted to deal with them again. Interestingly the clinic that was the most unhelpful or unaccommodating was Applecross, wont deal with it over the phone, need a letter sent to them from the insurance company, no the one I received isn't sufficient - OMG need a Panadol and a lay down now.

I said nuffing Mirawee, maybe that's what let the cat out of the bag, not denying anything you said

She is 2 1/2 and her claim to fame is having beaten Strauss's mum in their only meeting in the show ring. I will be calling her Chick a, but I guess she will get a nickname like all the others.
-
Hopefully you can see it now :-) No from the other side of Norway to Strauss, but at least they speak the same language. She has passed all her health clearances and has had a litter who are now 12 weeks of age
-
Well talking of children I would like to introduce my new child - meet Chica who will arrive in WA on the 22nd February all the way from Norway. Because of this I will be accepting all dinner offers and food parcels for the next 12 months at least

HUgs to Boots and to your girls too Rubystar. There are a few WA'ers who are having a rough trot at the moment - just know we are here for you and sing out if you need anything at all done. xx

MG you need to make sure his front end issues are not affecting his drops.

RV and ST I hope you have thawed out after last night, hard to believe we were sweating the night before. Thanks again RV for showing my little redhead. Yes the extra SFE training of me trying to pick up his feet and him not letting me worked - just wrong place and wrong time - sounds like a typical male. Well done again Mirawee and glad you left work and found everything is OK. if you ever need help just yell I am sure there are a few of us that could come to your rescue, although i am not sure how many horses I could fit in the back of my car.
-
HUge congrats to Mirawee and Anikka who tonight won group 5 junior POTY. IT was bloody cold at K9 so I didn't stay and watch the finals - but I have my fingers and toes crossed for you in the final judging. Good luck

That' s thinking outside the circle

What a terrific night for you Terranik - guess there is no need to ask if you enjoyed your night back in the big smoke. Well done

Glad to hear the kelpie is good at something I was starting to get a bit worried I think I will use this method with my next one, although I have to say the dog scout way has been good for us. My kids are all climbing the walls to so we had a session in the hallway this morning with all 7 - sitting on a mat. Soggy is learning to stand from a sit and a down just in case she ever gets to UDX . The best part was watching the retired kids you would have thought Lexi and Dekka had won lotto.
-
Hey Mirawee well done on your show results last night - she must be one very special girl - getting a 10 point challenge in her first minor outing The judge must have thought she was pretty special. MG a new car is something to get really excited about - a word of warning about letting the dogs jump out and the damage it can do to their front end.

Goodonya Ness - try her some other articles, pegs, spoons, toys, tent pegs, a hanky. Got to keep that brain of her ticking over.

Xena98 have you seen the temps in Perth 40, 40, 42, 40, 38, 38, 38 so my kids are in training for running under the sprinkler and water biting - they should be able to get their OC in both of these I have done a few bits. Lost my stand in PIM, that's now back again, but I have now lost my drop. Have only done wash cloths once since December and he did OK, so was pleased with that. Have done a few blind retrieves and don't think they are getting any better I've been playing weaving with the youngsters and starting agility with them and having way more fun - well thats what I keep telling myself.
-
Wuffles you are on a roll - break open the champagne
-
Wow the first 2 DOL Rally O titles - well done girls We will be coming to asking for tips when its our turn
-
I had my first go at tracking last night -and I didn't think she would be any good at it since I spend 99% of my training time rewarding the dog for looking up and being in heel position. How wrong was I She took to it like a duck to water She loved it and so did I. Really looking forward to the workshop thanks livertreats

I have 7 kids, 4 of them have nicknames and they all respond equally well to either. The other three all have shortened versions of their real names. The nicknames have all come about usually within the first 6 months of being with me. Scoota - Moo Jenna - Beans Strauss - Mouse Cider - Soggy Bear
-
So have you got a name picked out?
