With a week to go my girl isn't huge and the vet had already said she didn't think there were many. I have just weighed her and she has put on 2 1/2kg buggered if I know where it is, which makes me think we might be having more than the 3 I guessed

Good luck Missymoo Nap time will come later for you Shellbyville 11 WOW and all look a good size - congratulations. It will be fun changing the whelping box bedding when they get more active
-
Some great results over the weekend - well done DSO on your JDX Title and to Rubystar on your strat pairs pass Tassie where are you???????
-
Well the whelping box is finished and is in place and this morning I cleaned it to within an inch of its life. Newspaper is in place and I have now cut up the vet bedding to fit and its being washed - so that's the last of the jobs. Due date is the 22nd - which is 63 days from the first mating - so 8 days to go.........

Think we need a photo of your girl Becks

Thanks Aaziah and Becks. I attacked the whelping box last night, What should have been an hour job took me many hours and a trip to Bunnings and it still isn't finished, have to attach the inside rails, but I am happier with it. Think its 120 x 120 now.

OK I am starting to fuss - My whelping box is BIG 1.50m x 1.30m and I am thinking this weekend I might make a date with the circular saw and cut it down a bit. Anybody happy to share the size of their whelping box, the sort of dogs you have and if you are happy with the size or not.

Have some Swedish toller breeders staying with me at the moment - they have had a hand in every one of my kids - so lovely to hear about grandparents, GG parents and even further back. I don't want them to go home. Was also lucky enough to have coffee with Steve Hooker and to actually get to hold his Olympic medal - I felt like a BIG kid Cider has just over a week to go - unfortunately nobody has told her she is pregnant - she is still as crazy as ever
-
Hey just wodnering what made you change your mind. I have decided not to get one done either, but mainly because I doubt she woud lay still and think she could do without the added stress.
-
Beautifuly babies Lappiemum - they sure are easy to tell apart
-
Becks let us know how you get on - we are all thinking of you and wish we could help. Lappiemum how are those new babies???
-
I would be super stressed too Becks. Did they have any idea what the discharge was? Hoping she goes longer than 2 days that's a wee bit early for my liking.
-
Weasel - swap it around right pocket for poo bags left pocket for treats
-
I guess the people who use pockets are all from a obedience trialling background - so we don't want the extra visual cue of a bumbag. I know its a trap newbies fall into as their dogs learn very quickly bumbag means treats no bumbag means.......
-
Look at those little feet and the little tail tips Thanks for posting the video experience fun.
-
Huge congrats lappiemum on your new arrivals and at such a civilized time to Keep us updated on how things go over the next couple of days.

OSO is Rommi looking any different are there any more signs that she might be preggers?
-
Ive tried putting mt treats in my pockets but I find that either a) I struggle to get them out b) they all fall out or c) I forget about them when I get home and end up with smelly jeans from leaving dog treats in them. Mens trackie pants from Big W are the way to go - good sized pockets which are easy to get to. The only thing I have ever refused to put in my pockets was raw sheeps brains But Caffy did
-
Thinking of you lappiemum...... any news yet? Three weeks to go and skinny minny has lost her waist
-
I use my pockets Beaudiful Don't want the visual cue that I have treats on me to be quite so apparent.
-
Hey job well done Tapua - 8 little ones - great that mum and babies are doing well. Would love to see photos when you get time please. Lappiemum - your turn next.......

- never a truer word spoken As result of UDX I will be dropping the word Clever from the Occasionally Clever ones name and from now on he will be referred to only as Occasionally Strauss Mouse got his novice title yesterday - so started his DOR and change of position training tonight. 5 minutes later and we both had a migraine and decided to call it quits. Lucky for him he is pretty!
