  1. I guess the question I need to ask is....do you think she knows what stay means?
  2. Fantastic run Amypie one I could watch over and over and over and I bet you could too. So when can we meet at K9 for cakes???
  3. Ness I think I would be using another bed until Friday when you see the specialist again. I had a breeder from Brisbane come and stay to help me assess and decide which pup was staying. I changed my mind many times and in the end went back to why I did the breeding, which was to get my next obedience dog - so I picked the puppy that did everything at break neck speed over the boy who was the best put together. Time will tell whether it was the correct decision or not. So the little girl I kept is called Nina and her name will be Ptolomy Nannas Little Treasure (pending approval) I can't tell you how hard it was dropping the boy at the airport this morning to fly to Adelaide - Gulp yep plenty of them
  4. Well done Tassie on your 2 titles and please pass on our congrats to the class of 2012 Well Decision has been made and Nina - Ptolomy Nannas Little Treasure (pending) will be my next obedience girl that she turns out half as good as her mum
  5. It was a little bit special because I had my friend and toller breeder and owner of Scoota's dad here from Brisbane. Its the first time she has seen Strauss in the flesh and the first time she has seen him in the ring. I need to check her luggage tomorrow just in case she has packed him. Meanwhile.......no brags on which puppy is staying - more confused than ever
  6. Well done Rally Valley Toby really has come such a long way and after the little hiccup he had this morning when a GSD got into his face - he still managed to stay on track. Keep up the good work Tickled pink with the three boys who gained their Rally Advanced titles today Scoota with 100/100 Brookie 99/100 and Strauss with 97/100 Onto excellent we go........
  7. Thanks for all the feedback regarding desexing. I rang Applecross today $260 and George charges $240 both of which I consider acceptable.
  8. Thanks Showdog and MG. My mate was ringing George today for prices as she is getting one of her toller girls done. Happy to pay for the extras - fluids pain relief etc and I did say I didn't need/want a collar - I hate them and also have never used them. I will give Applecross a call tomorrow and see how they compare. Its Cider I am have done.
  9. Has anybody had a bitch desexed recently and if so are you happy to share prices and weight of the dog??? I rang today and they said $460 for a 15kg girl BUT it did include pain relief, fluids....and a collar I thought this was expensive, but haven't had one done for a couple of years so may be well off the mark.
  10. Go gettem Amy - make sure you pop in here each night to give us all the goss - GOOD LUCK
  11. The trial this weekend will be interesting since its been a week of virtual training - I have virtually done none! Has anybody had a week like this and found that it has been of benefit?
  12. Scoota has a grade 2/3 heart murmur which was picked up last year when he was having liver issues. They were going to investigate it further with an ultrasound after he had his liver under control - but he is jumping out of his skin - so we are going to sit on it for the time being. He didn't have it when he was younger - his dad also developed one when he was older. Sorry to hear about Daisy, hopefully it wont cause any problems.
  13. MIne turned 6 weeks old yesterday and they are feral. The are noisy, growl, bite and are full on feral. One will head to Adelaide, one will go local and the other will stay with me. I have a breeder friend coming a couple of days before they turn 8 weeks old to assess the litter and tell me which will be my next obedience dog. Then I am going to take 6 months off and put my feet up to recover. Whoever said breeders to it for the money - have not had a litter like this!!!!
  14. Good luck Amypie at the Nationals - we will be cheering from here - and good luck to Caffy and Snazzy too. My kids fly with collars on and I always put a spare lead under the bedding in the crate. There is nothing worse than trying to find your lead in your hand luggage with the dog going nuts in the crate wanting to get out.
  15. It was a public holiday here in WA yesterday - WA Day??!! Only 4 in Rally Advanced yesterday - 3 x Ob Ch (Brookie, Ben, Moo) and Strauss. There will be more next time as a few more dogs gained their titles yesterday.
  16. Well done to Bedazzled and Brookie for winning Rally Advanced today - the older boys are loving it. Scoota and Strauss also managed Advance passes Beans won Rally novice for her title. I was thinking of retiring her but she was like a little toy out there and really enjoyed herself - so unsure now. The occasionally clever one dropped during the sit stays in open - but he passed UDX so all is forgiven
  17. After failing distance control for 7 trials in a row - the occasionally clever one stood when I said STAND Not once but twice - there is a god for a 185 pass
  18. After failing distance control for 7 trials in a row........A UDX Pass for the occasionally clever one - 185
  19. For my combines weight of 30kg for dog and crate I pay $100 to fly Perth to Brisbane when I am on the same flight. That is using my own crate.
  20. Like Showdog I ring and book my own dogs on the flights. Having travelled both Qantas and Virgin I much prefer the Virgin guys in Perth to the AAE ones, its a personal preference from previous good and bad experiences and I guess everybody is going to be different.
  21. If Ptolomy is ok with it, I can post my fave pics on here :) Am I ok to go ahead and share the pics on here Ptolomy? You sure can - and well done on your efforts today
  22. Wish you had put your hand up earlier...... Have just weighed i-squeak - 4010 grams and he will be 6 weeks old on MOnday. Little Porker
  23. LOL Rubystar - I will work on the retrieve and bring back part and we should have a trial standard db retrieve by 8 weeks. In fact - you saw the jump over the gate to escape their yard - I might even have a db over the solid by 8 weeks at this rate Thanks again for the visit and the photos
  24. Good luck tomorrow Emery Thanks to Rubystar for visiting today - she was the first of a long procession of visitors. Needless to say the babies are out for the count now. You did good with the photos to Rubystar - think I need to invite you over so we can do it again in a week or so.
