So pretty Mirawee This is the year for patting people on the back for jobs well done..... Pat on the back to Ranford vet. The vet I saw twice in the last couple of days looked all of 15 - but she was fantastic knew her stuff and didn't treat me like an idiot. Phone through test results at 8pm which was over and above what was expected

Wow that is amazing in these temperatures - lucky dog and lucky owner :-)

Another Joint Supplement: Rose-hip Vital Canine

I am following the thread to see if there is any noticeable improvement in kenzie. -
Is keeping them in the bathroom an option? I have 2 lots of puppy pens I got off ebay and can join together - best thing I ever bought - they pull apart into single panels - 8 panels to a pen and one panel has a gate which is big enough to keep pups in and still give access to mum. They weren't cheap - but they are study and I can make them into any configuration. One of the advertisers in the banner also sell them Having just had many many days of 40 degree temps - there is no way the pups should be put outside.

Congratulations and good to hear.

What went BIG 3 last night and what was BIS and R/U?

Talk about a roller coaster ride. Lets hope whatever it is - she is on the road to recovery. Just wondering - at what stage do other tell people on their puppy list that there is a puppy for them? It would be so hard saying yes there is and then having to say - er sorry no there isn't.

I just read that out to him and he went pale and said "bloody hell!" Yep that just about sums it up

Wow I have some spare red dogs if Mr TSD wants to practice some obedience

What was the first indication that there was a problem? Has anybody read the thread on giving red cordial to puppies?

So very sorry to hear this - you would think at 4 weeks of age - they were over the biggest hurdles. So very young - it still hurts to say goodbye. Hugs to you

Naughty Nina has just turned 8 months old - physically Its 40 degrees here in Perth - might even be 41 - and has been for the last 4 days and the next couple so way too hot to do anything outside - so all this is being done inside - so limited by space.

All my big kids get time off over Xmas and New Year - usually 4 weeks - gives us both a break and time to recharge batteries and I find that they are firing on all cylinders when we start back again. Naughty Nina, doesn't get time off, that puppy brain is still like a sponge taking it all in. Learning scent discrimination at the moment just go and find the one I touched - so once she knows the game - it gets put away and brought out again when she is a bit older where we work on formalities. Also playing sendaway to a hoop, a mat and a platform, change of positions, including going from a sit and down to a stand and dumbbells and at some point I will teach her a formal stand and don't move - but that's in the too hard basket for now, still working on steady feet in a sit. Gees the list is never ending isn't it.

PM Leopuppy - I vaguely remember her saying she got some canvas prints done and wasn't happy with whoever she used.

Had a win tonight - she ate dinner with gusto and then came back for seconds - yoghurt, chicken necks, cottage cheese and some beef mince. Then tonight mum cooked some sausages and 4 sausages later. I will try and get some more liquid into her shortly

babies have wet face washes in with them and they are using them and also frozen bottles of water - which is good - they are really doing well. I have now put a cool coat on mum and she is much more comfortable. I have to smile it is obvious that she has never worn a coat before and the look on her face is priceless - but just like everything else she has had to deal with - she has taken it in her stride - good girl. I will see what I can come up with for mum at dinner time. Might run down to the shop and get some yoghurt to see if that temps her - but she turned her nose up at cooked chicken and cheese and puppy milk at lunch time and fish in oil for breakfast. Thanks for the suggestions everybody

Babies are doing well - mum not so - she is hot and today doesn't want to eat - can't say I blame her. Zoe + dogs had to evacuate last night - fires in Chidlow - was allowed home just after midnight
-
We are on our 4th day of temps 38+ and today she is not interested in eating - so I am a bit concerned. Have now put wet face cloths in with the puppies and they seem happy enough. It looks like another week before the temps will drop below 35
-
Ok I don't want to play this game any more - I hate hot weather, the air conditioning is making no difference whatsoever. So can somebody please turn the temp dial down This is no fun at all!

Babies are certainly growing Blitza Just out of interest how many meals a day are breeders giving mum. I have found that 4 works best for us 5.30am, 11am, 4pm and 8.30pm

I have used Fabness and been happy with them

Babies will be a week old tomorrow - boy time flies. I have not had a litter like this before so contented - hardly a peep out of them and they are all growing like weeds. A couple of photos taken on day 3 and 4.

Fantastic Photo Rubystar. Wishing everybody a Happy and safe Christmas and hope that santa visited you all xx

Thanks for the tips - I was thinking of using towels but wasn't sure if I should wet them or not. I have the ceiling fan and the air conditioner going.

Woo Hoo Happy Xmas and a nice even number Our babies are doing well and are so contented. It makes the three I had last time (different mum) seem like 20. Tomorrow its forecast to be 39 - so it will be interesting to see how they go with that. Happy Xmas everybody
