I have done agility trials with all my older kids and they are all masters titled. A fast BC will beat a toller, however, tollers can certainly be competitive. Are thy steadier than bc's? I'm steering away from a bc's because they are or can be so neurotic! LOL I tell everybody that a toller isn't as neurotic as a BC! but that's in everyday life. Have you done a search on Youtube for tollers doing agility? I am not sure if I have any clips on my website......

Woo Hoo it only seems like yesterday the two of you were entering your first tracking trial. I will put the bubbles on ice in preparation for the next two passes RidgieMal - not a little brag at all - its the first of many ....... well done

Ian is a legend in that he has so many OC quallies with his GSD girl a few years back. I also saw his boy working last year at the Victorian State titles. Pass on our congrats to him. Xena98 - it was a case of rooster one day and feather duster the next. On Sunday, the occasionally clever one didn't quite make it to the cones and then when I called him he just sat there .........SIGH He did have a BIG day the day before winning both UDX and UD and he also did 2 rounds of rally. So we still need one more pass.....who knows how long that will take.......

2 titles in 2 weeks CC is terrific and extra special because of the auto immune issue - one of my kids has had AI problems so I know what its like - well done and onto your RAE title you go. TO lovely photo of Jovi She is a little star. Bedazzled had a great day today - her RAE title, winning both rally rings and a UDX passand 2 passes with her new little red handbag For me, the occasionally clever one won UDX and UD, 2nd in Rally Exc and 3rd in Rally Advance. We only need one more UDX leg now Strauss got another leg towards his RAE title too.

A UDX pass today so only 1 more needed

It sounds like a very very successful weekend TO - well done to you and the kids and I know how much tollers love to chase.

Retrieving & Field Training Talk

I went to the restricted trial yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it. Well done Livertreats Rebel worked so well - just a bummer about not being able to get him back for that second birdie - but also a bit unfair that it was the same area he worked in at last weekends trial. These gun dogs do have elephant memories. My two kids, Strauss and Naughty Nina got exposure to the gun and also did some retrieves in the water. Both are getting more confident and Strauss is getting much better at delivering the dummy out of the water. -

Livertreats spoke to Strauss while doing the obedience bit of the RATG. Not sure what she lost for it if anything. -
Clover sending my occasionally clever one over to you - he is 9 1/2 and leg weaves are way too hard for him. You must be a good trainer and doing something right to teach an old dog new tricks - well done

This is what I think about this brag well done Tassie and Rory

Woo Hoo - well done TSD and Em -
Playing around with Naughty Nina (NN) doing multiple change of positions in heel position as a lead in to distance control in UDX which she may or may not ever get to. This exercise is the one the occasionally clever one fails most often so would like to have something in place so that NN doesn't run into the same problems.

The flying flea - really enjoyed watching this Rubystar - well done and good luck in the finals today TO - Jovi is a little star in agility - well done

Well done a pass is a pass and onto excellent you go

I am going to watch restricted Livertreats ran the borrowed red dog at the RATG and ended up with both dummies back in her hand. We forgot to take out his "go now" batteries and he broke on both runs , but again he was exposed to things he hadn't encounted before and he did really well. So sit and wait is on the agenda for the next few weeks. -
I have entered the tunnel monster (Cider) and the eager beaver (Strauss). Test driving the car at 0730 today, he is bringing the car from Wanagra to Murdoch - Salesman friggered me around on the weekend and coped my wrath so now he is bringing the car to me and falling over backwards. Had a fun day yesterday of seeing what I could get out of him before agreeing to the test drive today

That was fantastic Rubystar - 8 months old - wow

Great news JulesP firstly that Amber is still around and that Poppy is enjoying rally. I am still around trying to cure my seekback obsessed Soggybear from looking for her seekback in every UD exercise and trying to get 2 more UDX legs with the Occasionally Clever one. Also dabbling a bit in retrieving and doing rally, now have 3 out of the 4 going for RAE which makes life just a little bit easier when they are all doing the same course.
-
Hey Tassie - fantastic results today and now Rory only needs one more for his RAE title - and your non obedience girl continues to be a star Well done

Hmm probably the trip from the car yard home me thinks Its all Caffy's fault
