I've used Tomerong boarding kennels a few times and they are absolutely fantastic. My dogs came home happy and relaxed every time with a great report. Highly recommend them.

The jumping up doesn't bother me too much. With some training that would settle. My five year old son is very robust. He's been around dogs all his life including a stubborn red cattle girl!! I'm more concerned about temperament. He would absolutely have to be good with my Stafford girl. She is very submissive and dog friendly but given she's an oldie I don't want to stress her too much.

Oh he sounds great!!! Do you think he'd be good with young children?

My brother and I grew up with Rottweilers and our grandparents owned German Shepherds. Perfect dogs for us. Who the hell was on this panel anyway???

Kelpiecuddles, I think I remember saying you we're near Nowra on the south coast? If so the shop across from Coles in town sell the hard Plastic shells and heaps of other dog beds. I can't remember the name of the shop sorry but it's one of those shops that sells bits and pieces of everything. And SAMs Warehouse in Shellharbour has a massive range of dog beds including the hard shell ones.

There is a south coast animal rescue too. I'm not sure how they work fostering wise, but I think they are based in the tomerong/ Vincentia region.

You said you support them !!!!!. Well that means you are against all the States Controlling Bodies that have legally Registered Pure Bred Breeders because Oscars Law does not differentiate between them and Puppy Farmers. You can't support both. Sure I can.

I support Oscars Law and all it stands for. I'm against animal cruelty in all forms and that includes the horror of puppy farms. I have a big arse Oscars Law sticker on my car and get many people asking me about it. Can only be a good thing for awareness as far as I'm concerned.

One of the little BT pups from Wagga pound is back on the PTS list for tomorrow morning. His adoption must have fallen through :-((

Thanks everyone for such lovely words. Very much appreciated. It's been nearly three weeks since my boy left us. Chloe went off her food for a few days and looked for Oakley endlessly. It was absolutely heart wrenching to watch. We started taking her everywhere we go and introduced her to my parents Staffy Belle. They get along beautifully so we take them to the beach everyday now. Chloe loves this and has just started to spark up a bit. Tikira.... I'm so sorry for your loss. The sadness you feel is awful I know. Take care of yourself. Juice.... Losing another one was almost too much for me, espesically given we lost Jessie and Rusty less than a year ago. I still cry for my girls but the memories I have forever. Huntrox.... Yes Oakley and Chloe were adopted from BDR. You have a great memory!
