Willow recently had a bout of KC, shes on her last pill now Our vet told us when we took her in that the kennel cough part of the vaccine (c5) only lasts a maximum of 9 months, which is about how long ago she had her c5, so it adds up. She was really sick the first few days, even though it was only upper respiratory. She was reverse sneezing every 5 minutes Shes back to the same old willow now though *sighs*

what also got me was John Garcia's love for Georgia. watching him set up his sleeping bag in her pen was awesome I just wanted to fly right over and give cherry a cuddle

I Iq'd this on foxtel the other day, and i dont think anything has made me as emotional as this for a LONG time. Theres been a few conflicting opinions on how best friends animal shelter is run, but the results on some of the dogs had me in tears. I had heard poor georgias story before, but seeing her was even sadder then i thought. I wish i knew about best friends before my utah trip in 2006, i would have liked to visit them. Any organisation thats non kill and anti BSL has my thumbs up in general.

Willow does this to poor kiya ALL the time, lol. She gets RIGHT into it as well Usually when kiya is relaxing on the couch, floor, or anywhere else she lays down.

I know how much you loved your boy and you know how much Willow loved him too. i cant find the smaller one, sorry for the huge pic :x You did what you could, gave him a happy home for many years when others would have given up long ago. *big hugs* for you at this time, and you know where we are if you need anything at all. Bloody willow is still like that NOW Home, shes fine, does just about everything i ask her to do. At training, pffft, forget it, she hits play mode and getting her attention is impossible. I guess its the problem about have a dog thats *too* social

Willow gets daily walks, has a kong, home alone, and goes to obedience She still loves to pull the washing off the line purely as a revenge thing when we go somewhere without her Shes never once damaged anything, just leaves it there on the ground, lol. We tried the pepper thing, it stopped her for a little while, but now shes smart enough to work out which ones have it on them, and which ones dont We just make sure washing days are days when someone is around to supervise, lol.

I was watching a show on foxtel the other night *dogs with jobs*. They had a gorgeous shep that does mine clearing. The cutest part was when the handler was sitting down with it sharing a mango The dog was going NUTS for it! I dont eat them, so poor willow misses out. She loves strawberries, and thats about it.

Willow ate the feet off her cuz in about 5 mins, then lost interest in it Her Kong dissapered, god knows where that went The only think she LOVES is the rope i bought her from petstock They are great, i got the thickest one they had, the last one lasted me 4 months.

i cant really add anything else, other then to say Tash and Kyra. Shes such a cutie, i hope everything works out for her.

You will find in such a large online community, there are differing opinions about all food Some people love hills, and their dogs do well on it, some people hate it. I swapped from hills to eagle pack, because eagle is the only one willow actually eats And again, some people like eagle pack, others dont! The best dry food is the one your dog does well on, if they look healthy, have a nice coat, and eat it, i say go for it.

I remember rowdys story little one :rolleyes: I agree, its a TERRIBLE thing for all involved :rolleyes: for the poor carers, they must feel terrible.

Sorry about the repost pic, but heres willows set up Slightly different now, but in the same place..... She hasnt actually used it yet, her official crate bed i bought yesterday is too big, grrr, so its back to petstock for an exchange. Currently willow sleeps on the bed with me, and holds her need for the toilet in till whenever she feels like getting out of bed now (which is sometimes AFTER me!!!!!) She quite happily laid in bed till 11:30am the other morning!
