  1. I am in Vic...(western sub)
  2. I'd simply distract them or ask them to "hush" and reward them when they are quiet. It's not a behavioural 'problem' so much Mocha as simply behaviour you don't want to encourage. It's normal, just noisy. I'd really encourage you to take these pups to a training.. they are smart, learn quickly and benefit from the social experience of group training. yes...i am thinking too. but my vet said momo is too old for puppy school, is that true? he said i have to get a personal trainer for them... Can they still join the puppy school? how much does it usually cost?
  3. Thank you for warning me, really appreciate that. I started the basic training since last week by following "its me or the dog" suggestions and now looking for a solution for the barking/yelling problem...but they only bark to each other when they are playing...how do i avoid that? they never bark to strangers or other dogs...or even when we are not at home. is that still a behavioural problem?
  4. Thanks. I will start crating her tonight. I got 2 pups at the same time because I want them to have a little playmate when I am not at home... Actually, I am quite happy to see them bonding together. I saw some websites saying it is very hard to grow 2 pups at the same time but I don't really think so...(maybe because they are poodles???)...anyway, I will teach them about independence from tonight
  5. I have got 2 mini poodles 3 weeks ago (momo and chacha) from 2 different breeders. Momo is now 16 weeks old and Chacha is 12 weeks. They are doing great since the first night...they sleep in the same crate, play together and eat using the same bowls. However, when I separate them, Chacha cries like crazy...... any suggestion to improve this situation? i want chacha to know that there is no problem for her to stay in the home just by herself. Also, sometimes, they bark to each other, is this okay? Thanks
