  1. What can I do Has anyone ever had this problem ?? Our GSD wees in the car, he sits in the foot well but the thing is that he does show any sings that he is having a wee!! he just lies quietly on the floor, he doesnt even try to get up. He seems happy to lay there. He is 14 weeks old and is not a nervous traveller. He is in the car about twice a week & has been since 8 weeks old. HE never wees on the way to anywhere, only the way back. Any ideas anyone?
  2. hi, Our 14 weeks GSD did the same thing when he was 8 to about 11 or 12 weeks. He just stopped doing it by himself, I was very careful to wash his bed because if it smells like a toilet she will use it like a toilet. If you cant wash her bed spray with metho or white vinegar to neutalise the smell of urine. I am sorry I am not a lot of help to you. our fella just seemed to grow out it or perhaps his bladder got stronger. I always thought they would never urinate where they slept too. Although he still wees in the car no matter what I try. good luck
  3. This is the only time he wees in the wrong place, he hasnt wee'd inside for many weeks. I have tried to get him to wee on command by saying "do wees" and giving a reward when he does. He never wees when on the lead so it seems we always leave the training grounds with a full bladder. Where can I get a bellyband? What does submissive urination really mean? I know I may have created the problem by yelling, I didnt mean to, it was an instant reaction.
  4. I have a 14 week old German Shepherd Dog. When he was 9 weeks old we went to in laws place 4 hours away and puppy made it all the way with only one stop to relieve himself. We go for regular trips in the car and he always wee's on the floor on the way home. He sits in the passger footwell on newspaper (no he is not paper trained) and a towel. The strange thing is that he wee's laying down as if to hide it from me. (at 10 weeks when he first wee'd in the car he got yelled at) what can I do?
