I know a staffy that is a bit like this! Ignore her when you see her getting to the nipping and licking stage, give her a gental verbal correction if she persits. Then use calming strokes and verbal praise when she's controlled. Speak in a flat voice as not to excite her into licking and nipping again. And just keep doing it over and over again!

I pat my favourite dog first everytime.. Or pay attention to the one I think needs a bit of attention (i.e. the one I might be feeling sorry for).. this is more often than not the lowest ranking dog (or a very old dog)

they should indicate if it's real basil; and not indicate if the basil is synthetic. No harm if you blind reward it, but unless you want to look for basil in cosmetics I wouldn't re-present and reward, but if she responds to it in future I wouldn't correct her because it's essentially right.
