Thanks for all the advice. I haven't seen her do it since that one time but im definately NOT going to let it keep happening, as someone says i know enough to know its bad doggie manners . I will use distraction and i want to go buy a treat ball thingo for her aswell . She gets lots of short obedience practice during the day with me and then a longer session in the evening with my hubby.

hi all, My 4.5mth old CCKS has started humping ;) hehe. Just want to check this is normal for her age . We have a door snake thing only it is large and has the head of a lion.. it is her best friend every night she has a wrestle with it, but the other night also decided to give it a little hump... My DH almost fell off his lounge, he didn't think female dogs did this hehe. Will she continue her humping habit post desexing and can you tell me what we should do when she does it? the other night i just distracted her but i don't know if i should just let her be aslong as it isn't a person??. thanks

hello everyone, Thanks for all the replies, its great to get everyones opinions. Im still feeding 3times a day but switched the weebix for the dried food, added some bones..which she loves and reduced her chicken intake (gross poop lol). So she has a variety of fresh minces...chick, lamb and beef . Gretel....oooo you want the name story?? lol its a goodie. we have bought Molly mainly for ONE of our children, not that she isn't shared amongst all 5... lets face it im not buying them each a puppy lol. Matilda is our 3.5yr old daughter and she recently had half her left kidney removed, she has had issues with her kidneys since she was born, even spending some time when she was 9mths old on dialysis. Now in the lead up to hr BIG op she kept on telling us about how she was getting a Pet and her DR... DR F was giving her a PET... we just couldn't understand where she was getting this from. One afternoon she said it again and we stopped and spoke with her about it until it dawned on us.... her 'kidney' is a 'kitney"....she thought she was having a PET removed not a KIDNEY lmao. Dh is totally not a CAT person so a puppy it was. Pretty sure she got this idea because I was pregnant. She got to meet Molly just before her surgery and she took photos of her to hospital in a little album, it really helped to get her through her recovery. So anyway, she was named for the organ that matilda believes she was . here is a pic..its not a great one sorry... its my DH with matilda, molly and our baby Scarlett. bb

Thanks Kitkat. I haven't given her the carrot yet, but i give the brussell sprouts prob every couple of days (just one) and she does do any smellies lol. What is puppy kibble?. I noticed my woolies now has something called puppy porridge, was wondering if this may be better than the weetbix?. forgot to mention i DO NOT cook any of her meats, is this ok? I buy top mince from my butcher. Jen

hello all, Our new little puppy Molly Kidney is a KC Cavalier spaniel. She is 10wks old and going really well. I have been following my breeders instructions with all aspects of Molly, but have been told i am not feeding her well (not by breeder). Wondered if i could get your opinions. Breakfast: weetbix with puppy milk Lunch: dry food (optimum puppy brand) with either mince(chicken or beef) OR chicken necks Dinner: same as lunch but i rotate mince/necks so she only gets one lot per day. she also gets on brussel sprouts and carrots.. raw and uncut. Oh and for treats we have some puppy biscuits and yesterday she had a dried pigsnout..she loved this although i think GROSS lol. Thanks in advance for all your advice/opinions, Molly ismy first ever puppy .... I have 5 kids but that doesn't REALLY prepare you lol. Jen

Hello all, This looks like a great idea . We are picking up our new little puppy tomorrow night. We are getting a little Blenhiem Cavalier and I was wondering how we were going to keep her from wandering the house at night unless we locked her in the laundry. Shall be ducking into our local Bunnings in the morning to see if they have these. Thanks
