Well done, great idea I would suggest that you ask them to hold onto them until after the auction and Sway could then advise them of the winner's address to ship them to. That way it would save double handling and incurring any freight costs to onship to the winner. Liaise with Sway for her contact details to be provided to Deals Direct. Also ask them to provide links to the actual items they will be donating so these links can be used in the auction thread, so people know what they are bidding for. Actually that probably a better idea Im good which ever way it goes. -

The boxers died from the smoke no sign of burns on them and the only way we can explain why all of them didn't die is that it seems Jed went back in and got 3 babies out but couldn't get back in to save the others. -

Ive got the easy bit - Im down south and co ordinating it all but Lesley and Marg had a hard day yesterday picking up the bodies and the survivors. Both will have their hands full ensuring the ones they have taken home will be comfortable and looked after as Jed would want them to be. 2 more bodies were found later in the day after Marg and Lesley had left and removed the bodies they found out - The two adult boxers who were found under Jed's bed so their bodies have been recovered and will be buried as well. So sad. -

I need to say Kyla_QLD_Cavalier_rescue has been wonderful and this morning called me from Jed's property still extremely over come with grief and frantically searching for Magnus. Her dad who is an experienced horseman helped us to sort out what feed we needed etc for the horses. Kyla_QLD_Cavalier_rescue I heard your tears and I know how much this has upset you and I cant say often enough how very grateful we are to have you there covering the scene for us so we are best able to help Jed. Stay strong but know we are thinking of you and appreciate you too. Julie -

There will be no progress reports on her condition for at least a couple of days as when the airways are burned the swelling is the issue for the first few days. No word on any sighting of Magnus which we would have expected by now - not looking good. -
The problem with tagging someone a BYB is that its open to interpretation and whether you show or trial isn't the whole picture. Its more about do you test the parents and do you select the parents based on science and knowledge rather than just pick one thats convenient.Even though you dont show etc do you still respect the breed standard and understand the importance of breeding to a good representative of the breed. If you sell puppies without papers you demonstrate that you have no interest in what comes next. the purpose of the papers is so everyone can identify the parents so they can take information about the health and the way the dog moves and looks etc into consideration when they breed from related dogs. Without papers and a registered pedigree they are not considered purebred.

I was wondering about that also. Can Steve or Toohey give out the address of Caitlin (if she gives permission)? Or maybe we could send them c/- of the Dog grooming lady mentioned earlier. O.K. Probably the best address is 349 Transmitter Rd Wooroolin 4608 .This is Pacers Queensland address and it will be the quickest and easiest to pass them onto Jane when we can. Lesley and Marg are right in there and it will be easier to get them to her when she is awake. is it possible to give the cards to Caitlin so she can get some comfort knowing how many people cared about her mum? Caitlin knows whats going on and we have constant contact with her. -

I spoke with Jed last week to tell her she had been nominated for an award for her Lutheranian Mountain dog piece in Best dog Publication Category. She was stoked but has no idea of how much she has contributed - this thread will make her see that a little more I think. -
Brisbane News : Assuming the paper has it correctly, I presume cards, notes can be sent there? Not there.

Address for cards etc 349 transmitter Rd Wooroolin Queensland 4608 We will deliver them to her. Julie

So it was definitely him that shot through, or are we still not sure if he made it? TBCSITW is an icon We're pretty sure it was him as no other dog fits the description. But there is no sign of him so we have no idea of what happened to him after he ran off. -

O.K. still no sign of TBCSITW. But we have chi chi - the little tiny rescue dog Jed saved , 2 cockers- the pup [shit head] and Marjory,3 boxer pups and 8 cavs. The bodies have been collected so we can give the ones that didn't make it a place to rest where Jed can know they were looked after. My role in this is minimal with many others much more deserving of Thanks. Marg Coles and Lesley- goldchow have worked miracles today and bought the dogs and the bodies to safety. Kyla_QLD_Cavalier_rescue has hung around all day for us and we are so very grateful to her. All of you with your words and donations have been awesome and I know when Jed is feeling better she will be very moved by the support she has. Julie -

Well done Erny. If Sway can do this, K9+ is more than happy to donate any Royale2 or Competition2 Soft Dog Crate I have currently available in stock, and post/freight. So, valued will vary. Thank you so much! I will speak to Steve as it would be run as a BDBA/Pacers auction and if she gives the ok will do so Sway If you could take this one I would be most grateful .I'm flat out here and wont be able to do it justice without you. julie
