I retract my comments then because 'show dogs' are not dogs that fit within the wider community and can spread or be affected by disease caused by bad vaccination policies . Before making assumptions maybe youshould question my statement, that way you dont make your self look stupid Why I specified "showdogs" is simply because when showing at the Ag shows there is often dogs that belong to the carnival folk that could have only good knows what. Also shows arent always at the same show ground alot of the time we are only going to some grounds once or twice a year, so only god knows what has been there since we were last there 12 months ago. And to generalise (I hate doing it but) those that dont show there dogs normally arent going to a different place every weekend they will normally stick to a few places. If you have any idea of the show world you will understand what I am trying to say, I am not being stuck up or implying anyone is better than the other.

At Brisbane there is someone that walks around (for some of the day) and makes sure that dogs arent covered up and that all trolleys in the walk way are folded up. I dont understand how people are missing there call I only have Brisbane royal experience to go on but they usually call ages ahead of time and you if you can see what its going to be like getting to the assembly area so go down closer earlier. Atleast then when it is time for you to go to the assembly area you are closer down have as many people to fight to get past.

Well said Aziah, I couldn't agree more. Anyone who joins a pure breed forum dedicated to responsible breeding and states that they've bred a breed of dog that they can't even spell correctly and then implies that the reason they want to bring in a rare breed is to make money out of the puppies should expect to be questioned about their motives. As for the spelling mistake try the safari browser I just click on all the red lines after I type and it does the correction automatic sorry if it doesn't recognise the word shepherd pffft. Any way I have travelled to America and a friend I have has both breeds and I fell in love with his dogs the OC he uses as a guard dog and he breeds shikoku dogs as well so I have looked into this in depth with him and as for health problems he has been relativity lucky. Also I'm not in it for the money I love Japanese dog breeds and would simply like to breed them with my friend and introduce this dog to OZ. NOT FOR THE MONEY. First thing you should be doing is contacting the ANKC and finding out how you would go about getting the breed ANKC reconised!!

I have been talking to a few different people about the 16 wk vaccination. 1 person says vets recommend the 16 wks vaccs. Some one else said that there vet has just done the 12 wks one and then again in 12 mths. So what do you do?? PS. I put this in Show Forum as I am wanting to know specifically about what you do for your show dogs.

Its simple if you dont want your nany on display all day dont take it! I have never been tro the Adelaide royal but going from what has been said the Adelaide Royal has no consideration for anyone or anything wether it be the dogs the owners or the public if all the have seperating the public from the dogs is 1 rail, Brisbane leaves a lot to be desired but atleast we have a 5ft fence seperating us and our dogs from the general public!! Lord knows what we will have when it all changes.

They have something similar to this in brisbane. The dog must be benched at all times not left in trolley, they can be in wire crates on the bench BUT you cannot cover them up. They must be on display at all times.

The 2 main presenters were both dipshits lets be honest! I am wanting to do Nanango on the friday and saturday. The person I usually go with isnt doing Nanango now. So I was wondering if there is anyone that I could possibly get a lift up there with? I will of course give you money for fuel. I will have 2 dogs but they will be in a PP40 unless you want them to go in a trailer. I would be meeting friends up there and camping with them and coming home with them as they are coming down for a show on the sunday. If anyone can help me please pm me. Thanks

Jetpets all the way here!! And I have found them cheaper than dodgeytainers dogtainers. I had a pup come from sydney to brisbane 2 weeks ago. the pup was picked up from breeders place and the had a fantastic run through sydney to the airport. They got to the airport in time for the pup to make a flight an hour earlier than scheduled I got a call from the jetpets driver asking if I wanted her on the earlier flight! Fantastic service! Will be using them again in 3 weeks!

FFS! They were here again this afternoon!! I really told the woman what for! but atleast this time it only took her 35 mins to come and get them! but found out that she has spent over $1200 busting them from the pound!! :D So bloody clueless!!

2 hours later she has finally turned up! Her excuse .... Wait for it She wanted to watch a dvd that was due back today so thought she would watch it first and drop it back while she was out! FFS :D :D ;)

Just spoke to the council again and because contact was made with the owner they wont send a ranger out! Told them how she still hadnt turned up and i have to go out, the silly person said that maybe you need to change your plans! FFS why should I change my plans cause some silly b!tch wont come and pick her dogs up!
