  1. I took all these shots of Border14's Duke in sequence, so had a go at merging them...then tried to make them into a kind of frame (should have been smaller & thinner I think, but I didn't want to lose the reflections).
  2. I missed this one before. It is so cute with both of them. It looks great & the merge is flawless. I have always loved that photo of Flynn, I have tried to do something similar a few times, inspired by your photo...but I can never get my dogs to look relaxed & it kind of ruins it when they are staring intensely .
  3. WOW, she is SO talented, thank you for posting, there is some really awesome stuff on there.
  4. Snap, you're welcome to have a play with any of my pics...I have heaps: My photo's on Flickr
  5. This is a photo taken, photoshopped & framed by my 8 year old daughter! I didn't help at all. (I tried but she wouldn't let me ;) )
  6. YEP! They are such gorgeous shots, such an CUTE puppy!
  7. I couldn't get the background right, so tried to hide it, LOL.
  8. Thanks Harminee...I kind of feel like I'm getting a bit carried away in PS lately & would like to get back to focussing on the actual photography. Problem is that as I get better in PS, I am starting to accept less quality in my photo's...b/c I know I can just fix them. Not sure if that makes sense? LOL, or if it's even relevant. I don't have PS, only elements, but on mine it's Filter, Render, Lighting Effects and I chose Soft Omni to try & add a soft spotlight to each of their faces. I actually shot these without a tripod so there is a tiny bit of camera shake as the shutter speed was too slow for handheld. It's actually what gives the pic the softness, although it was ununtentional when I shot it. The ISO is also pretty high, giving a bit of noise, but I think this works as well. , tell her I can take her to the virtual beach as well! Hey Ruth, can you put that one up of Stripe on the step. I reckon someone could make an awesoem OOB out of that one, it is such a cute pic.
  9. I'm still practising my merging. These were 2 separate pics taken on my table, overlapped & merged together. I also applied a soft omni light to each of them. (not as fancy as Harminees awesome cubes...but I bet it took me just as long )
  10. Fantastic job Harminee, it looks really effective (although it makes me squirm )
  11. Hi Stephen, I'm not sure there is a "typical" gamblers course. Every one I have run & seen has been quite different. We are starting in Excellent next week, so it'll be interesting to see how much the difficulty increases. Novice gamble times are quite generous & the distance is not too great for most teams. I will have a look around, I may have saved some of the handouts I have been given, but am not sure it will help much. My best advice is to plan a course & try to stick to it as much as possible. I tend not to do back to back obstacles b/c I find it disrupts our flow. I generally try to pick a loop between Weaves, DW & AFame & try to do it twice & hope to end at teh start of the gamble. 12. WOW, That looks cool Wagsalot . It's a great photo & perfectly suited to oob. I love how his nose is coming right out. If you still have the working file, you can change the canvas size to make the frame fit & the colour of the frame, although I think the pink is fine.
  13. It's really good Doglover. There is a lot of 3D dimension here & that's what OOB's are all about. I'll look forward to your next one...
  14. at Sidoney...I guess that's why we are friends. Those were my EXACT same thoughts when I watched it It's cool though! , that's more what I feel like I see sometimes when I run, but I know Trim see more.
  15. That looks really good Harminee! Each pic is suited to the perspective of each face on the cube. Well Done....and isn't she so cute!
  16. Good, because I couldn't possibly tell you :D I applied so many filters & tools, I can't even remember which ones
  17. Here's my latest...I've always wanted to do something with these 2 images. not dogs, sorry . What do you think? I have put the originals on as well.
  18. WOW, your photography is awesome! and the processing your husband is doing is very impressive. I just added you as a contact in Flickr. As far as the selective colour, maybe just pick an easy photo to start on & have a go. Looking at your pics, Karma's eyes may be a good start & an easy one to do. A really quick simple way to do it would be to click on the magic wand tool, make sure the second "boxes" option is selected, where they overlap, set the tolerance to about 30 & click on Karma's eye until the whole eye is highlighted & then click on the other eye. Once the eyes are selected, go to thh menu & pick Select, Inverse. This should highlight everything in the pic but the eyes. Then Image, Mode, Greyscale. There are heaps of other ways & this is not the best, but I think it's the easiest, especially when the subject & colours are simple. Let us know if you need help.
  19. I'm glad you all liked them, I love the intensity he has captured. I found the photos on Flickr. After following a website, it looks like these people breed ACDs in the US.
  20. OMG You HAVE to send that to funniest home videos. YOu could set it to the tune "raindrops keep falling on my head" That is hilarious!
  21. Here is my Trim How does she look in black & white???
  22. I LOVE this one Harminee, it looks BRILLIANT! I just bought a Photoshop Elements manual, I'm kind of excited...I know I'm only using about 10% of it's capabilities, so am hoping to take that up to at least 50%.
