I think you could be a puppy walker for pf and just exchange for a younger version when 6 months old and ready for breeding from. Jokes aside (but only for a moment ) I think this is one of the factors that has shaped the development of some toy breeds. Large eyes (in comparison to head size) and small stature do maintain a puppy look for life in some breeds. Oi Becks.. can I interest you in a nice black Schnauzer?? Colour guaranteed not to wash out - I'll use permanent dye. Given that I have poodles and a Whippet, its probably not surprising that I find the Bedlingtons a very attractive breed. I'm not sure I'm cut out to deal with a true terrier temperament but gee there are some nice looking Beddies in the ring around here from time to time.

I've got Danois' order sorted.

Just back now with a breed I'm sure will be a top money earner great addition to purebred dogs. Behold Deshonko Kennels latest additon: the Jungle Rockwheeler.. stripey is the new black

Oooh I've actually done that. How many cows have ya got? And what breed? Are you interested in a hypoallergenc cow? I"m very versatile. 300 ;) Stud Holstein. And nup, i dont think ive met anyone allergic to a cow so your money making scams are not wanted here... Is that 300 milkers? How about a cow that produces flavoured milk? Although you've already got ones that produce milk flavoured milk I suppose. ;)

I've got to go out and motivate my kennel staff buyers.. tune in later tonight for more!! Oh, and don't worry about all that inside vs outside stuff for these pups.. they'll be just fine in a backyard. Skin's waterproof ain't it?

Not as many as I'll get when I count up my sales. I've got something special for the Rockweiler folk but have to put pics of that in later. Lets just say that if I'm bored with black and tan, there are bound to be others interested in a rare colour.

All my pups are naturally obedient and very easily house trained ... Not that they've ever seen the inside of a house mind you but they are smart little tackers. Well, they look smart from a distance anyway.

Here's one for you jdavis: Amazing what 30 minutes and some chemicals years of dedicated and knowledgeable breeding can achieve.

I thought this place could use a little levity. And of course it all promotes my Christmas sales.

Shite, that would be a pretty hefty Mini Poodle.. No, its a special breed for blokes who need a hypoallergenic dog for the kiddes but worry about their image. I also sell the studded harnesses and collars that assist with promotion of the idea of dogs as extensions of certain parts of male anatomy. The first one is a flock guardian that can really really fast to the farmer for help when the flock is threatened. It's called the Pacifist Flock Dog or PFD. Works out well that acronym cos they'll be pretty dear if you want one. They're just like white Golden Retrievers.. only skinny and curly.

No You have clearly failed to notice that these are extemely rare and expensive new breeds that shall make my fortune. [evil cackle] Before Troy newks me, I have the affidavits of not less than ten employees independent veterinary geneticists to support my claim that they are pure bread. They are OZKC recognised. This is the launch of my marketting campaign. Now to perfect the coat colours that shall make me the most $$$$ Oh, and if anyone wants to join the OZKC, PM me. I am President. if you can get a blue version of each THEN you'll be on a winner Ah, you have sussed out my cunning plan. Although I think pink ones may also sell well.

Not a problem. I breed to order. I assume you want it ready for Christmas?

Does anyone know what breed this dog is? And this one? I have a few others I will post later.

Ditto. Too many stories of bad reactions. I'd not use Revolution for the same reason, even if I don't have Ivermectin sensitive breeds.

I don't ever hold children responsible.. they are children. It is up to all of us, dog owners and parents to keep them safe.

All posts in dog attack threads by a very recent member. Jane are you a friend or relative of the owner of this dog or the victim of the attack?

Vets are like GPs Macka.. they don't all think outside the square and a lot of them regard alternative remedies as quackery. In some cases they are right!!

At the moment she eats Artemis Fresh Mix Adult plus raw meaty bones, mostly chicken wings, necks, frames, drumsticks. She probably has not been on the Artemis long enough to evaluate how it is going for her - I only switched her over to that from Eukanuba a month or so ago. OK.. I added a recommendation for a vet to my post Macka.. I'd highly recommend a visit.

What do you feed her? Allergy relief can often be assisted by a change in diet. I'd also be looking to include immune system boosters like Vitamin C. As you are in Sydney, can I recommend a visit to see Dr Barbara Fougere at this clinic She is a holistic vet that has assisted a lot of folk to manage their pets allergies.

# Clipper Blade For Poodles?
poodlefan replied to Poodle wrangler's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
You still have one more chance PW. There are shows at EPIC on December 5 and 6. There were poodles of all three sizes at the last ones. -
What's your budget like? Can you afford a super premium like Artemis or Royal Canin? If not, my friends dogs do very well on Advance. The downside to canned food is most of it is water. It's an expensive way to hydrate your dog. How much are you feeding her? If she's leaving a lot of food, the quantity may simply be too much, especially if her weight is pretty good now. How often do you feed her? Once or twice a day?

No advice until photo is posted!!!

Training Treats...how Much Is Too Much
poodlefan replied to Chiwogabull*'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
A common practice I see at our dog club is making each treat too large. A treat really only needs to be about the size of your little finger nail unless you're giving a jackpot. I'd recommend reducing the size of what you're giving if that's possible. What are you using now?
