  1. Ravyk, this is why you need to deal only with local profeshonal breeders - that dog has been dyed. However, as luck would have it, Deshonko does have some very expensive rare striped dogs in our breeding program. We can certainly do a pup for you! Here's a pic I took of my stud dog "Tassie" out in the pens the other day.
  2. The right dog could be a real bloke magnet for you MM.. Shall I cook something up to order? Here ya go MM - no real man will be able to resist the lady who owns this dog!
  3. The right dog could be a real bloke magnet for you MM.. Shall I cook something up to order?
  4. Sure there is - do you want it hypoallergenic as well? Or do real men just put up with any hives and sneezing?
  5. You may have to fight for him - I think that's one of the newer husbands.
  6. I'm still producing Jungle Rockwheelers for those who missed out last time.
  7. Oi Shonkypaws.. we need to get cracking pumping out carefully breeding pups for Fathers Day. Who was the DOLer with all the husbands and that spotted Nigerian breeding stock we liked?? A pup from something like this dog will put hair on any man's chest (and more than a few scars I'm thinking). I can almost smell the testosterone Anywhooo, get your orders and requests in DOLers.. we need to get cracking now for the ultimate Father's Day gifts.
  8. That's very catchy!! I like "Premium Pets from Profeshonal Producers"
  9. I would also suggest that you contact Consumer Affairs/Fair Trading in the state the store trades in. They seem to have magical abilities to expedite things.
  10. Dawwwww - gee but they are cute. Another breed that should be banned from Baby Puppy sweepstakes.. how could a judge pass up one of those.
  11. I would most definitely recommend Karen McSwayne of the Prickley Poodle at Fisher Shops. Not only is she a great groomer but is very gentle with dogs. Capital Grooming are also good.
  12. I expect he'd enjoy the company of a Whippet PROVIDED the dog will have inside access and can be kept out of extremes of weather. A mature one would be just the go and there are usually a couple advertised here on DOL. My Whippet loves Pugs.
  13. Oi Jed!! You need to start thinking about our next Deshonko/Shonkypaws Father's day promotion.
  14. Curse you CBL!!! : I'm maxed out on dog related buying this month I bought a dog trailer.
  15. Or a sign of imbalance in front and rear construction.
  16. The Blackdog webbing ones are good as a day to day collar or for swimming in.
  17. A couple of pieces of vet bed would fix that.. just throw it in the washing machine. Mind you, if crate training is going as planned, there shouldn't BE any accidents in the crate!
  18. I didn't say when the dog would be desexed but am happy with Staranais' wording too.
  19. Can you provide an example? I was thinking of the whole crossing with poodles thing to make a dog for people with allergies. Practical crosses - not just to make them look cuter. And that is the only example I was thinking of but there could be more? Bad example. Most poodle crosses shed and many folk have allergic reactions to them. As a "practical cross" its been an abject failure. Guide dogs got out of the crossing business because they could not stabilise the low allergy wool coat. Not that the oodle breeders will tell you that. What's wrong with the low allergy breeds we now have anyway?
  20. Agree completely. My first dog bought as a show and agility dog ended up with a bad demodectic mange, then her jaw went undershot after her teeth change and finally she developed chronic muscle problems (and her litter sister went lame a week after my girl did). She is still my bed warmer nearly 9 years later I never even considered sending her back to the breeder, not that the breeder would have taken her back Me too. My "show dogs" are pets first and foremost. Their breeders are told that no matter what happens, the dogs are "keepers". I can appeciate how breeders need to move on dogs that won't contribute to their breeding programs but I'm not a breeder so I don't have that issue.
  21. What are the dimensions of the pan you need? Personally the first thing I do with crates is remove the pan.. just adds weight.
  22. I would add: I will desex my dog unless it its part of a registered breeding program. Oops - and another. I will only source my dog from responsible, ethical breeders and rescues.
