Oh I like that one huga.. Off to have a look.. After really checking out the 'bigger' porteen bags, they are not that much bigger.. I want something that I can keep it all in, like my old backpack.

I had a low pro backpack but it went missing when I moved back down to Canberra in August 2011.. Lucky for me that I had the camera and lenses with me int he small bag. I had the backpack packed in a box with heaps of padding. It had my tripod, speed light, books, filters and other bits and pieces... The porteen bags are divine. I have one of the smaller ones but I really like the bigger one.

There is a new larger porteen camera bag... New bags Do I need one? Yes, I think I do..

I signed up today as well. Bought the 12 month membership.. It was only $24.95US.. I think I will spend a lot of time over the Christmas close down sorting all my images into categories and years so they are easier to find. I have so many that I will never use for anything, so it is a good opportunity to have a clear out.

I might try to join in as well.. I just bought myself a 100mm macro lens (technically for Xmas but I am using it now cause I can't help myself) I might make mine all about macro summer...
-
I agree, I think the cost is minimal. I would hat ego lose all of my photos.

I give his a wipe over once a month.. He wears his flat collar all the time because he reacts oddly if you take his collar off and leave it off.. He will carry it around and put it in your lap. It's like he doesn't like it when it is not on.. My old boy never wore a collar at home, only ever when we went out.

I get heaps of comments on the lead and how soft it is.. I love it all and really shouldn't look at the website cause every time I do, I want another collar. He will be the best dressed do in the country if I keep going.

So cute... Congrats.

Zig only likes cold stuff at the best of times, so he gets frozen food when it is really hot. He ate about half a chook carcass for breaky today and some half frozen roo steak for dinner. I had a little black kong with kibble and cottage cheese in the freezer for after dinner, in case he didn't eat his dinner. He still loved it but ate both dinner and his kong.. I like to freeze chicken stock with a chook neck or wing in it (just on a container that holds a couple of cups of watered down stock). I give him these on hot days to as they help cool him down. Sometimes we put sardines in not there as well. He has a clam shell pool which he is happy to go in. He puts his whole body and head under the water to cool off..

That's what I was thinking... More so now because I am taking more photos and a friend complained a couple of weeks ago that her external hard drive stopped working and she had to get professional help to retrieve all her photos.. Lucky it was all salvageable...
-
Thanks.. I think I will pay for it..

I have reached my limit of uploads this month with Flickr. The free version. Apparently I can pay about $7 a quarter for Flickr pro and get unlimited uploads.. Does anyone else think this is a good idea or just a waste of money? I back up all my photos onto an external hard drive but the more I think about it, having Flickr as a place to keep all my pics is not a bad idea.. Cheers and TIA

I got some more yesterday of some flowers and a pine tree, will post some up tomorrow.. Zig got a new collar from Ruthless and I am going to get some of the detail on the collar with the macro lens, I think they will turn out great. I was also playing around with water running.. This lens is amazing and so much fun. The more I think about it, the more I sure I am about doing the Canon digital photography course here at the college

I love pictures like this.. Old sheds, farm equipment and other such things always make me go ah... I think it was huga that showed us some of an old car and bus..
-
Yep he has 2 and matching leads.. The other one, which he wears all the time is the same as Coopers. This one is a martingale, so will be used to teach him to walk on lead without a harness.. Today was really the first time he sat for me to take his pic. Normally he lays down or does a silly goofy look with his tongue hanging out.. :D

Princess's Happy Ending :-)

What a great save... I love a happy ever after.. -
Woolies always has turkey necks down here - wrapped in a plastic in with the other meat, like chicken carcasses (meat section).. Zig loves all this sort of stuff. The only thing I don't give him to much of these days is brisket bones and marrow bones and that is only because of the fat content.. He would eat bones before anything else.

Good luck for Bella today..

I looked a both - and the L series was more expensive but to be honest, I know it will be worth the extra bucks. It has IS and some other setting (which I am yet to explore) on the lens itself. We had heaps of bees buzzing around the lemon tree, flowers to take pics of and of course Zig had to get in the middle of it (until I aimed the camera at him - he is such a spoil sport).. Still need heaps of practice with this lens.. I did it... I bought the canon L series 100mm macro lens.. I had a bit of a play this morning for a few minutes and it is truly amazing... So much fun. I can't wait to get some decent time to take it out and really play with it. It is a self Christmas and birthday present for about the next 5 years but I am so happy I did it..

Oh god how horrible... I am so sorry.

And kangaroo. No feedlots or factory farming there. Feral Goat .. Depending on where you are situated, you may also be able to source wild rabbits ..? Absolutely pers.. Ziggy gets loads of roo now..it is probably his favourite food. He gets the human grade stuff only because I don't think it smells as strong as the pet stuff you can buy..
