  1. Does anybody have the class in group results for Gr5 and RUIG?!?! TIA
  2. Erny I said yes to this. The reason being that it will help give a more accurate picture of bite statistics. Yes, you will still get breed bias to some degree when it comes to identifying the breed responsible, but it will capture the incidents of owners' dogs biting family members a lot better than currently recorded when people go to the emergency dept of hospitals. With a lot of dog bites people tend to go to their GP and that data is lost. It is possible that it will help balance some of the media hype surrounding dog bites. I answered the same Grupmette and put basically the same as you've said here. I don't think the headline "Family's SWF attacks toddler" is a eye cather, although with current trends they'll probably still focus on the "bigger" dogs
  3. We had a really good time! It was great catching up with friends after a break over Christmas. Didn't like the size of Group 5 ring but can't grumble cause we had nice big rings the years before. We heard the announcements about leaving gazebo's but didn't notice the signs. I think Seymour has had problems with vandals in the past and at the last show I attended there in May they had security on from about 8pm till 4am.
  4. Completed survey. Can only pray that these proposal become legislation

  9. Congratulations to Ana, Ben and Delta for winning BIG and then the big one Best In Show :D Do you know who the Minor Puppy Aussie was?
  10. I was wondering if anybody sells just the hydrobath shell - just the tub thing, not the pump, etc? And if so is there a website of phone number? TIA
  11. About 6mths before our daughter was born I started getting the stroller out (with doll strapped in it) and wheeling it round the yard and teaching the dogs not to rush up or jump on in. Once we had that down I then moved on to walking them with in round the street.

  17. Congratulations Pippi & Jess on your titles All the best for upcoming trials! The black dog will be out of dog sports for awhile She hung herself in our gate on the weekend and is very lucky to be alive and have 2 front legs.
  18. Yeah, he does an awesome job and has such paitence with the black dog that I don't have, LOL. I'm thinking of maybe trying to find a trial in June/July to enter as I'm pretty busy with Lacey, and herding, and tracking and conformation and booked solid until June Plus I haven't had time to train Denny :p
  19. CONGRATULATIONS on your passes! Is that your title?!?! I know I feel bad that she's such a feral Miss but I can't believe how good he is to her and how paitent I keep thinking when she's older she'll calm down but she's already 6 and not showing much signs of it. I think she could have run all the way from Shepp to the trial and still not be pooped I'm gonna have to get off my butt and do some training or bring her down for some training. Just been a bit busy of late with Lacey and herding and tracking and conformation ring! Congratulations again!!!!!
  20. While we were off in Mount Gambier showing our Aussie's Kiz went to Melbourne to compete in the ADCV trial and was handled by a very paitent friend! She unfortunately didn't pass her AM jumpers as she had a bar down but did the the course in half the SCT! They had better luck in the afternoon with a pass
  21. Cue Jacket - Size 10 - Black - fully lined - 2 real pockets. $15 plus postage. SOLD
  22. Thanks for all the suggestions I have about 3 rolls of Vetwrap in my doggy first aid kit atm - from when some yellow bitch thought she'd take on the alpha black bitch and was rewarded for her effort with a new piercing in her leg - so I'll give that a try over Christmas!!! I'll track down that website tomorrow Jess My ankle needs another reco but don't think I'll have it done as the first one didn't work and that was even after I do a zillion exercises. I figure I'll just wait for the whole thing to cack itself and get a brand new one, that should last for at least 10 years, LOL!
