Bow Wow

Don Burke was just on 2HD and he accused the RSPCA of cruelty, because they are not doing anything about pedigree breeders, who are breeding dogs and changing their genetics for the sake of creating the right look for the dog, but in fact is causing the dogs stress and pain. He used the DDB as an example saying that the pedigree breeders have bred them to the stage that the dogs bottom teeth protrude out so much that the dog can not chew their puppys umbilical cords. He stated that on his many road tests he seen alot of pedigree breeders keep their dogs in shocking conditions. The RSPCA dude then asked him, well when you seen these dogs in these condition, did you make a report??? Don spluttered that his show helped a horse who was in bad condition????? Don is furious with the RSPCA because to him they are stating that all puppy farmers are bad (well der) and he thinks there are just as many pedigree breeders as bad. The RSPCA told him they are looking into the pedigree genetic breeding problem, and Don kept shutting him down telling him that they are liars. He is a flippin tool. Would not let the RSPCA fella talk. As the RSPCA fella said, why did WE have to ring YOU about this situation. If you were going to have this topic on todays show, why did you not call us for answers? Don said because you have not done anything about it. (idiot) So out of it, the people who are not in the know and believe everything that they are told on the radio, will come out thinking that puppy farms are good and pedigree is bad. So all the hard work done to educate people has been flushed down the drain by this twit.

I am thinking that maybe you are right, Redangel. After i found this photo, I went looking for more photos of Bindi, which I have not been able to do because seeing them caused too much pain. Anyway as I was looking through all the photos of my gorgeous baby, I felt such a sense of peace, and the familiar feeling of my heart swelling, when I look at her. :laugh:

I was just going through my photobucket album and I came across this photo. :D I remember taking this photo in April last year for the photo challenge. I had Bindi stand up and put her paw on the ladder and kept her there by putting peanut butter on one of the rungs. Then I photoshopped it to look like Bindi is climbing the stairway to heaven. Not knowing that my baby girl would pass in the following September. :cry: I am really blown away. There is even a small part of me saying, did I cause her death by doing this photo. Silly I know, but my god I am really shocked at seeing this photo. The original photo

Rusky looked like a gorgeous girl. I am sure she has left your heart in pieces. :D But Rusky WILL be at the other side of the bridge, playing and running in the sun, chasing puppies and waiting until you come to join her there.

Just thought I would pop this collage up of Georgea. She is 11 months old, so I thought I would take some photos of her today.

Just bumping this back up. :D My doggy stroller came last week, but it was raining all the time so did not get a chance to use it. Instead I placed Bow wow and Georgea both in the stroller together and walked around the inside of the house. They loved it!!!! It was so hilarious seeing their little heads looking over the basket. :) Anyways today is the first day we have had some sun. So, I ring mum and ask her to meet me half way for a walk. I put Georgea in her pram and away we went. I had people in cars looking, and probably thinking wtf??? I felt so silly. So I stopped and got her out and had her walk along with me next to the pram. All was good, until, up ahead was a Rotti and a Staffy running loose. So I picked Georgy up put her back in her basket, zipped the lid shut (there is a screen at the front for her to see out of and for fresh air), crossed the road and continued to walk ahead. I see the staffy run across the road to say hello to an older man walking. He hangs on to her collar while the idiot owner slowly comes over and takes her back across the road. To only then let her go again, so straight away she comes across the road again to say hello to me. I just put myself infront of the pram and held my arm and said NOOOOOO! I was not worried that she would hurt me, but I did not know how she would have gone with Georgea. I grab her collar because i did not want her to go near the pram or to cross the road again. The owner comes back, taking his sweet time. I explained that though I was not scared for me, that I was scared for my dog. He did not say anything. I am trying to hand over the dog to him so that he could take her collar, but he just kept saying c'mon to her. I am thinking just grab her flaming collar and take her back over. but he was pussy footing around. So I left, shaking my head. So although I looked totally ridiculous pushing a puppy in a pram, I was so glad that I had it today!!!!! Stupid bloody owners letting their dogs play out the front of their yards and on the footpath.

Anna, that is truly gorgeous

I just ordered a pram. For a few reasons, hanging onto the pram will help give me support with my back. Plus having Geogea/ bowwow in the pram i will feel that they are safer from getting attacked. Then while I am at the park, I can get them out to walk.
