Behavourist Recommendations - Brisbane

Jane Harper is amazing! -
Just putting it out there that Jane Harper is brilliant - I've had her assistance numerous times either fact to face or email. She is practical and thorough. If you choose to go the way of a behaviourist, I sincerely believe she is the best. Good Luck!

My 2 go freaking nuts after a bath. Walls couch carpet bed - nothing is safe. They smell good though - they aren't allowed outside for awhile after a bath.

So sorry xx

I love my beagles. I even joke and say they are my kids. But they are not. They are not my children, they are my beagles. My dogs. My animals. When you call them your child , it completely wrong to me. I actually cringe. We can love our dogs completely, as strong as any love we have known, but they are always dogs, always animals. Also, all dogs should be able to be separated from theor owners without anxiety, without stress. If your dog can't be separated from you without displaying signs of anxiety, there is an issue.

Just one last thing, I also second the Centenary Vets at Middle Park - I didnt think of them as they are not at Indro. My friend takes his very sick Lab there, and they are just amazing, and very fair with pricing. This lab was on deaths door, but they have given him a new lease on life. Its amazing what they have done for him and the family are thrilled. He is a much loved pet. Definitly think the world of this Vet Surgery.

I'd suggest the vet at the Uni @ St Lucia.

The Strangest Thing Just Happened Here

I read your post out to my husband and he just looked at me and said "he is trying to steal the dog. How do you make friends with a dog - you feed it". Keep Ziggy under lock and key!! Wat has happened to you would scare the living beejeesus out of me. -
Yay!!

I have 2 dogs with 2 different providers. Mia is with RSPCA - she came covered by them - with a diagnosis of HD. If I change her to Medibank Pvt - who Charlie is covered by - they won't cover HD as it is pre-exsisiting. Esky, I know you were not asking me about 2 different providers but thought I would throw this in as a point of interest.

I have 2 beagles. They don't do "alone without my family" so well. Im not an expert but I can't imagine a beagle living outside and not howling/digging/scratching. They also shed ALOT for short haired dogs. This may be an issue with a rental, even outside.

I thought this was wonderful. I have alot of respect for police dogs. Yay Zac!
