  4. Gone nuts tonight. Ordered treats from Happy Paws , a brand new snooza for Mia (a cuddler, Charlie already has one and they have been kinda sharing it), a snooza futon each (one green, one blue), 2 skid stop bowls (thanks to miss mia....) a nina ottoman toy, and some VAN products, and Ester C. I HAVE NO MONEY!!!!!! But when I find some I blow it all on the pups :D Have a great night all!!
  5. Hi team, there is information here http://www.belfield.com/megac1000.php , and it has been reccomended to me by a very reputable source that Vitamin C can be beneficial to pups with HD. May I ask if anyone uses it, and if so, what brand? Any information would be most appreciated. Kind Regards, Jacqui
  6. Charlie would chew on the cords if i brought him into work
  7. the maturation phase (testing) may be it. He has been asserting himself in different ways recently.........and he probably like the mat! When we catch him we take him straight outside, and if we see him do it outside we reward........
  8. How old is your pup? Did you use toileting mats to 'assist' in toilet training? Is toilet training complete? my bad - I call all dogs pups. Charlie is about 13.5 months. Charlie is toilet trained, however it took along time, and had a few *going back to basics* times. We used the pads when we were training him....I guess this could be why??
  9. HI All, We are having issues with Charlie marking his territory. He only ever does it on a mat! I have floor mats at doorways, or under a couple of tables and without fail, he will ONLY wee on a mat. Does anyone else notice that with their pups? How can I make him stop!!!!! Cheers, Jac

  18. I can highly recommend the pj link you were given - got a pair for each of my beagles ;) I knwo its not what you asked for, but Charlie looks lovely ;)
  19. I was walking back from my physio appt today, when I saw a little SWF across the other side of the main road. Looked scared, and it was darting all over the place. I couldnt walk away - crossed the road and he came bounding up to me! Picked him up (desexed male) and knocked on a few doors. No one knew him - walked home and popped the beagles outside (not impressed) and pondered what to do. Called the council and registered the pup as lost, and they said they would pick him up. I left my details incase someone called; THEY DID!!!! Hurrah! A lovely older man and his wife came hurrying around to pick up pup (name is Cooper) apparently someone had been into their yard and left the gate open! Cooper belongs to their daughter who is currently livng with them before her and hubby (air force) move to VIC. I was so happy I took him home, and even happier that I did call the council. I really HATE calling the council about lost dogs cos I never know what will happen, but this time its turned out well. The only other time I had to do that, the owners knocked on my neighbours door a few hours after the council had picked up the pups, so I know they went back to their owners as well. \ This little pup Cooper was beautiful, and cuddly and walked so nicely on the lead *sigh* such a lovely boy.
  20. no bloody stools or vomiting since treatment started from the vet....fingers crossed its going to be all good
