That's right Tambaqui, there isn't much to be done, you pay for that judge's decision on the day and that's what they got. It would be interesting to know who was entered though.

That's correct EF, dog challenge was refused but bitch challenge was awarded. Very interesting statement!

Recent events have reminded me of a few more: Be polite about other exhibitors, particularly when you are talking to a newcomer... sitting there badmouthing other exhibitors to someone you don't know is not endearing. Share your thoughts but respect other people's opinions, don't lecture people or be rude because it does the exact opposite of what you are trying to achieve.

I agree with gracious in both victory and defeat. I know some exhibitors that are genuinely happy for your win, even if you beat their dog & they are just a shining beacon. I have all the time in the world for them

I would presume that you would have the same recourse as you would anywhere else. Someone with a legal background would most appropriately respond to this but as others have suggested, local council i would also suggest police if there has been a bite incident and they won't provide details and potentially a claim against the property owners public liability insurance if it is private land. Those are the first ideas that come to my mind at least.
