Gee the Victorians are letting us down! I had a great weekend on Sunday with Littlehoot... it was so nice to have newbie company! and Littlehoot did a fabulous job with her little Lola!! My little Lola picked up another Bitch CC/RUBOB and is now on 48 points.. yay!

I'm having trouble keeping up with this thread. Gad to hear that there has been some improvements. Fingers crossed for much more to come.

Jazzie, I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope everyone recovers quickly.

I've been coming in here all day for some news, I'm so glad that Jed has come through the surgery well and look forward to more positive updates in the days to come. I don't have a huge amount of spare cash to donate, so I've spread donations over a few pays, I'm assuming $$ will be needed for some time to come. Lots of love to everyone who is doing such a fabulous job to help out. DOL really can be such a fabulous place to be.

Lots of healing vibes to Jed, stay strong and heal well. I hope the surgery goes smoothly.

Oh god... I keep waiting until I can get to the computer to see what has been happening. Poor Magnus and Meg and those beautiful boxers. While I hope that Jed recovers quickly, I can't bear to wish for her to wake up too soon. I hope her body recovers as much as it can before her mind and her heart have to deal with the rest of it. RIP those beautiful babies. I am all the more grateful for those around me while my heart breaks for Jed and her family.

I have been closely following this thread all day and wish I was closer and could provide some practical support. Although I don't know Jed as well as some others on this forum I respect her opinion and the way she expresses herself. She has always come across as a kind and thoughtful person. For this to happen to anyone is just devastating and my thoughts are with her and her dogs. I will be keenly keeping an eye on this thread, I really hope Jed recovers quickly and returns to her remaining bubs.

Chyeah, I reckon!! I'll be venturing back here more often if there are people I can relate to better LOL... well keep coming back and you and I can chat.. and evolving and littlehoot and now ophnbark... we're getting a few of us together now! I'm entered into Geelong and the Bulla Autumn Extravaganza for those of you vic showies :D I've got to check the closing dates on some June shows!

Woohoo! I got to meet Littlehoot and little littlehoot and their gorgeous little Lola It did get a bit confusing to the end between the two Lola's, but we managed. Was so lovely to have a Victorian newbie, even if she wasn't showing today Lola got RUBOB/Bitch Challenge... and Murphy's law bit me on the arse again.... I didn't want to hang around for in groups because it was such a long drive home and they broke for lunch and it was just dragging... ended up pfaffing for so long I stayed... and BIG was from intermediate so we were out anyway

Well I had my first major cock up today... I had a feeling that I shouldn't go and I should've listened to it.. it just wasn't meant to be my day. I didn't leave my gazebo because I didn't want to miss my call, but as it turns out, I didn't get in early enough to let the steward know I was there (I normally go 2 or 3 breeds before mine). Because the weather was so shitty there were apparently a lot of no shows, and those no shows included the entire contingent of the two breeds before mine. Between hearing the steward call for Japanese Chin and collecting Lola to go to the ring we had been called absent. So that was show entry, petrol, an hour and a half drive and show prep for naught. I've also given up tomorrows show as a bad joke as I'm really just not in the mood. Won't be doing that again.

Be aware that these don't fold. I got one of these and found out later. Am now selling it as it doesn't meet my needs.
