I once was walking a friends Wolfie around as she was a tiny bit timid and she was walking around fine, and we walked past the toy group, it was funny watching the old biddies ripping there little fluffies off the ground by there leads because this big scary dog who would hurt a fly was walking past. Yep some people are idiots!! In their defence, I often pick my fluffie up when bigguns are around just because she can be intimidated by them, not because I think they would be nasty... but their size alone can be scary and if you want a bright, happy, chirpy dog in and around the ring you try to minimise chances for them to become frightened.

Hahahah I had my ditzy moment on Saturday... I got to handle my friends absolutely gorgeous Saluki... normally handling a table breed, I'm standing dutifully by the side waiting for the judge to go over the first Saluki in the class... Until the lovely bloke handling the first Saluki in the class called me over.. umm.. oops.. then to hurriedly try to stack poor said 'luki in a hurry.... then I toddled away from the ring to go tell his mum how well he'd done.. and was reminded that I should've been there in case the other dog got class of breed... oops! We have so few dogs in our breed that I am a lost cause when it comes to knowing where I need to be.

Thanks Cath Super perfect. I think his name was actually mentioned by my vet (I thought it was a nickname ) ... didn't know he was so close.

I think the only reply to that is 'HTFU' If a dog is just walking past and minding its manners what does it matter what size it is. As for setting up gazebos... I think if you can get together with friends it is best... it's certainly more fun with a few people to hang out with.

I have been slack and haven't posted in here yet.... last weekend Lola got the final points towards her Championship title. I even had the paperwork all ready, hubby posted it for me on Monday so hopefully we'll have her new paperwork here with her Ch. on it soon! Yay!

I love getting out and about and having a hobby that I'm passionate about I love hanging out with like minded dog nerds who don't look at me like I've grown another head. I love hanging out in the losers tent and celebrating a great day out. I love it when my girl does well and we can hang out in the not-losers tent and celebrate a great day out. I love spending the day with my baby girl. I love the awesome company that I get at shows and making up random stories about chickens going to court and an appropriate composition of a 'jury of peers' given breed and size differences. I love being able to have several-hour long in depth discussions about future plans and get into the fine detail of it all. I love playing spot the DOLer And most of all, I love my kids

That would be even worse!
