Awww I like Merrirose I think it's pretty, but I know what it is like to get your last choice and be a bit 'meh' about it. I was the same about Wyntervale, but it has grown on me. My girl is supposed to be having 2-3 but will find out for sure on Firday. This is my first litter and to be honest, I started off shitting myself.. from the minute she was mated.. lol! I'm getting more relaxed as time goes by and as I feel more prepared... I've got my supplies, I've got my supports and I've got a better idea of what I need to do (yay!). OMG becks, they are adorable! That's a while lotta puppies! I hope your friend enjoys the ride... lol! Yay! congratulations!!!

At least I don't feel so alone... lol!

Wow!! Congratulations Jill! That is amazing Can't wait to see piccies. Now a question from a young player.. Lola's nipples (at the base where the meet her tummy) are looking red, only two of them though. Is that normal or potentially a problem?

It's amazing just how different they are isn't it!! Lola is just hungry all the time now, but really she wants what we're having not the bikkies she just has available. I can't wait to see how much more she grows in the next two weeks... and I can't wait to see all of the upcoming puppy piccies!!

We are only expecting two or three at this stage, but they told me it wasn't guaranteed to be an accurate count, sobim still hoping Your girl is getting close now! Good luck

lol dont feel to bad she had a large litter last time so I expected her to be big this time aswell As long as they are healthy thats what counts Absolutely And only 13 days until I get to see them on X-Ray and see how big those babies are getting

Wow c_bc, she is MUCH bigger than Lola is and 2 days earlier than when I took the photos.. Awww and I thought my baby had a big belly... lol.

Sorry I've been slack with belly shots... these were 6 weeks to the day post mating. I know she doesn't look that big in pics, but she looks huge to me

I've just been on a big shopping spree with SpikesPuppy today and it looks like my whelping box should be ready next weekend... yay! Almost ready for these babies and I can just start to feel them now as big blobbies in her belly.

Hey everyone... sorry I've been busy and not quite here. Hilaryo I'm so sorry to hear about your girl What a disappointment. Congrats to everyone who got their confirmation! I did take some 6 week photos of Lolly but I haven't had time to upload them onto photobucket will post later though. 2 weeks and 6 days to go!

How do you even afford that?! lol! Unfortunately taking that much time off work, particularly unpaid is not an option for my finance or my career.

Thank you very much for all of your replies. I'm feeling a bit more comfortable in my plan now, I've booked in my leave and I have a mate who can pop in during the day for me... OH will probably end up at home periodically too.

Thanks Ashka.. it sounds like you are really well set up. We are only expecting a couple of pups... waiting for X-Ray to confirm numbers.... I am planning on taking two weeks off for the event and then trying to work from home for a week or two when the puppies are weaning and getting people to pop over and check in on them during the day when I do have to work. I'm hoping that's going to work!

Wags when you say having someone at home to keep an eye on things are you talking about from day dot until the puppies are gone?

I'm curious to hear from other people who work full time and have litters. How do you do it? How much time do you take off for them and when? I'm trying to plan out exactly what I need to do for my girls' litter and I'm starting to get a bit paranoid

Congratulations to everyone who is expecting :cry: Hilaryo.. your poor girl sounds like she's been through a lot Fingers crossed you got some sticky babies. OMG... I went to Canberra for three days.. have come home and I can't believe how much Lola has changed... she has no waist and a big 'ol pot belly.. such a huge change in such a short time.. I can't imagine what the next three and a half weeks are going to be like!
