I have recently taken back a dog i rehomed. he is still as lovely as ever. He is however overweight. poor posture etc..looks like a complete lack of excersize. Anyway the issue here is this... Around his penis area it seems swollen. by this i mean..like the tip of his doodle (not the pink part lol) is all that is noticeable. Is it possible he has a tumor or is it associated with his weight ?? I dont think i have explained myself very well but im not sure how to lol. I will try to get piccies

A prong collar does not up the intensity from what Ive been led to believe. Its is a training tool,that is different,but not more intense on the dog.

Your OH needs to stop and think for a second...how would he like to NEVER EVER HAVE SEX !!!! Ask him how that would make him feel...OFF WITH THE NADS,...give this boy a break fromt he frustration. This will help! Trust me. Look around,some vets are cheaper than others. Some councils even do days where they do it really cheap.

Try the triangle of temptation...i swear this is such a useful tool.. I find that this simple practice can resolve many behaviour issues,..or at least helps to reinforce your commands etc.

I am using sentinal spectrum monthly,i am capstarring almost fortnightly,and spray the yard and dogs with permoxin...still we have fleas!!! Hmmm the fleas have become a problem since the neighbours got a cat,...wonder if this might be the cause? My vet has put me onto a product that I will be using over the weekend .. its called K-O by Bayer.. Will let you know if i have any success ETA didnt read Sherees post.. I am even keener now to see how this works out

depends on off i have cheese or devon etc to hide it in..if not i open up thier holes and down the throat..hold muzzle for a sec,rub throat to stimulate swallow reflex..and watch them for a minute to make sure they havent out smarted me lol!!

I have wanted to get Indie a prong because I thnk its a far better choice than the flat martingale..But I have the same concerns as you with public perception. What will people say?..I mean even when i correct her with the martingale people look at me like Im a bully lol..Well people who dont bother training thier dogs do anyway. I know I shldnt worry about what other people think but its something i guess that does look harsh if your not educated on it..! I cant beleive the comments you have recieved!Wow..

havent checked Sages poo..it is very very rare for her to have accidents. i wll have to keep an eye on her!! No temps ! no other symptoms
