  1. That's the key element .......gaining the dogs trust and respect as their leader. So that in times of distress, fear, the dog can look to the leader for guidance, rather than trying to control the situation themselves. Great result Steve.
  2. K9: Into my arms command......I recently watched a video by Bernhard Flinks and he was using that technique to calm the dogs drive. VERY INTERESTING!!
  3. Hi Fellow Students, I have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, probably bring the younger one (the Black/white one in the photo) as she is the more placid of the two, plus she is my favourite. Stafford wrote: HIGH STRESS in the 1st intensive. Is that because they overload you with too much information?? Oh, I hope my little brain can take it all in. Cheers Linda :D
  4. Looking forward to meeting both you girls there. I live near the Tulla Airport so I am going to ask if I can catch the bus with the interstate travellers, save me from driving there. Are you both bringing your dogs?? and if so, whats the breed?? Cheers Linda :D
  5. Yeh took my money out too Looks I have been accepted also. :D Look forward to meeting you there. All the feedback I have received on the course is very positive, so I am really looking forward to it. I'm a little bit afraid of the studying involved, cause it has been a real........ long time since I have studied. Cheers Linda
