For those of you that have your dogs on Ziwipeak how are you finding your dog's reaction to the food? I've recently introduced my 8 year old Staffy to the brand. And she seems to be enjoying the food, but she's ran outside a few mornings after wakening up to franticaly eat grass - upset stomach? Her stools were a bit soft at the beginning but are now more or less back to normal. She does however pass a lot of wind - and it stinks to high heavens. Not too sure whether to persits slowly with the food - or else try something different. I've just bought a 5kg bag, so I'm reluctant to through it away. I normally feed her raw, but I'm heading overseas in a few weeks and I need her to be able to eat dry food - easier for the hubby to manage. Cheers

No improvement at all and no testing was done for a thyroid condition. Have continued feeding her a raw diet..........no kibble at all. Will take her along to another vet for a second opinion. Thanks for responding. Cheers

There seems to be some very knowledgable people on this forum.................so I'm hoping they'll be able to give me some advice/help. I did take her to the vet about 6 weeks ago with her condition. These are her symptoms: under belly black, red around the anus and she is losing hair on the side of her body, so it also looks black. She's not really that itchy and overall she does not appear bothered with her condition. But her coat does look unsightly. It's looks as if she rolled in something. Vet said it was a yeast infection due to a low immune system and to put her on a raw diet. Her diet and that time was kibble (no grain) and fresh bones. I have now stopped the kibble completely and she's just on raw with supplements. But there is still no improvment to her overall skin condition. I do plan to take her back to the vet, but I'd just thought I'd ask here first as some of you may have gone through a similiar problem with your own dogs. Cheers I also put her on Claratyne and bought Malaseb to wash her.

If the dog does have a yeast infection would the Claratyne help to relieve the yeast condition?

Haven...the Canine Behaviour Certificate what's the requirements on taking that course? Do you have to complete the Cert 3 with ADT first, or will they recognise other certificates, such as the Delta Certificate? How long does the Canine Behaviour course last? Cheers

Lablover have a look on the dogwise site they have the books. Is it very heavy reading HR.....? It does look very interesting though! Might buy it! So you would definately recommend it HR? Cheers
