  1. Hello Im starting this thread to find out if anybody is interested in starting a flyball team ( or club ) on the sunshine coast???I have 2 borders who have been racing for 3 years. We love flyball, and want to continue. I have emailed and phoned all the clubs ( agility and obied) on sunshine coast and no luck with flyball. I have also been in contact with PAWs of noosa, however it is my understanding that they dont compete in all comps, as half their team is from sydney. So if anybody is interested PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply to this thread cheers for now
  2. hi mate maybee before you guys pick a team name, you should ask for sponsorship for your team. Its a huge promotional oppurtunity, and sponsorers usually will incresase thier prize if you have there company name as your flyball name. E.G "ROYAL CANIN FLYERS" etc etc
  3. Hi Whitka! any luck finding a flyball club?? if you go to the afa website, then go to contacts, feel free to call your state rep. They are happy to point you in the right direction, and give you friendly advice amy

  5. A good idea that i used with my food driven dog when he began to learn was to smear peanut butter all over the ball. He had to retrive it from the box, then he got to lick it as much as he wanted. it worked hope it helps U
  6. hello If you approach your local tennis club, usually they have ex comp tennis balls for around $1.. If your after squash balls, the gym usually sells them to ( ex comp) for $2. i find these balls better than the $2 shops, as they seem to last. cheers
  7. I've heard this as well. Apparently the outside surface is abrasive, like a scouring pad and will wear away the tooth enamel if a dog chews them constantly. 100% true I have 2 boarders, and the vet always comments on how healthy they look, but always asks what they do all day to have such worn teeh ( THEY PLAY WITH TENNIS BALLS!!!). so now they only get regular tennis balls at FLYBALL :p
