My cat Pharoah (i was doing a dinner party for my mum's bday - and when i was setting the table, I walked in and saw him up there !) had to take a pic of course - CLASSIC !!!

Here's one of Zorro at 8wks old - you might be able to do something with it .... Looks pretty good on its own though too doesn't it !! Will see what else I can get off my website.

Yay !! I had a quick play last night & I figured out how to do the black & white with some parts in colour !! Love it !!!! Will have to bring some in next week and post it ! Now.... how do I do the signatures & cut part of the pic out ?? Like eg: I just want to get zorro out of the picture (without background etc ?) I"m using Adobe Photoshop Elements 5. Thanks muchly !

So..if anyone uses this program and can lend a hand to a beginner I would really appreciate it !! I have no idea !! :-) Thanks everyone !! Hey Tracey ! If i didn't work during the week I would love to come watch and see what its all about. Is there something happening at Durack with BC's soon ? I know of the show on 22/9, anything before then on a sat/sun ?

Thanks for the tips ! I do put treats in there for him and when he goes in I give him one, or when he lies down he gets one as well. Will have to see how we go - its only been a few days. Will try tiring him out !

The last two nights when he has been barking, i made sure we didnt let him out, and told OH that he will settle down, we just need to ignore him until he gets bored or barkign and gives up and goes to sleep. He did eventually which was great ! Its just getting him to go in there without any complaining. Tonite we'll try and tire him out before bed time and see how that goes ! How will he get used to it - i mean some ppl on here leave their dogs in the crate when they pop out to the shops for an hour or so - we'd love to be able to do that -maybe we have to give it a bit more time. ??

Thanks Rhi & Jak ! I thought about that too, that maybe he wasn't tired enough to go to bed ! Just like a kid i imagine! :-) Will try wearing him out tonite & popping him in. We tried to leave him in there when we went to the shops but he just started barking so we let him out.

Hey everyone, We jsut bought a metal crate for our Zorro on saturday. Sat & Sun nights he had no problem sleeping in tehre, and didn't bark once he got in. However mon & last night, he has started his high pitched bark when he is in the crate, and takes about 5-10 mins to settle down before going to sleep. What should I do ?? I tried covering the crate with a blanket (as I have the top and 3 of the sides covered for warmth) - but this time i pulled it over and covered most of the frotn to block his view - had the lights off but he still kept barking. Help ! Its driving us nuts !

HEy again Musik ! Thanks for all that info !! Our pup is 6mths old, rarely has the odd accident in the house, but thats cos we didn't let him out in time, so our fault. Will have a look at that site for the direct deals and see how it goes. Otherwise we'll get this soft crate for now so we can use it in the car, and if need be will get a metal crate. We use the term 'Go wee-weez' - original i know ! :-) But i don't think we did it enough, we need to be more stricter with him so I think we will start back at Step One again and go out with him all the time. I can't' wait until we let him out, tell him to go wee-weez and he does it straight away !! All takes time so thats what we want to concentrate more on now. I have posted pics last week, in Border Collie pics !! he's a cute little man !

Thanks sooo much musik! I was looking thru the old posts, but what you've said is great !! We are actually going to start off with a material/soft crate as we can use that for the car - and see how it goes. Its only $50 so thought it was worth a go. The crate will be in our bedroom so I'm sure he'll be happy to be sleeping in our room again, as he is currently sleeping in the bathroom. I will print that out and show to OH so we can use it as soon as we've got our crate ! So exciting for him to be able to have his own little spot. Should the crate always stay in our room (besides when not in the car) or should we bring it in to the lounge room when we are watching tv, or in to the kitchen when we are doing the lunches/dinner etc, or keep it only for sleeping ????

Hey everyone !! As topic suggests - we are going to buy a crate for our pup to sleep in at night time. When we first brought him home at 3.5mths old, the breeder lent us a crate to use and he slept in there no worries. We are now buying our own crate after having to return the other to the breeder. What do I need to do ?? (sorry if its a simple question - we've never owned a dog before). Thanks in advance !!!

Thats another good tip ! Will make sure I use my command voice & let OH know as he can get a bit heated and tend to growl/yell more than command.
