I know this isn't quite what you are after, but I have a dog with HD that see's a physio and uses the underwater treadmill at dogsinmotion in doveton, it's helped alot

I currently use joint guard on my girl who has HD can anyone please tell me what dosage to use if I get her Ester C

If she is in pain then it would certainly change her behaviour I would be getting a second opinion from another Vet there are better ways to manage arthritis, like Cartrophin Injections and using joint guard

Sorry,I just confirmed with my Mum, he wasn't to be walked further than a kilometer up till 12 months, then gradually increase.

I was wondering what advice breeders give to puppy/young dog buyers in regards to excercisie/walking. My Mum bought a pure large breed dog about 6 years ago and was told by the breeder not to walk him over a kilometer for the first 12 to 18 months of his life. So I was wondering if this is just a large breed "thing" or is this the case for all different size dogs Thanks
