You could also go for the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro Tis a fair bit cheaper and is a very nice lens.

Easy! "bloodykelpiemum" -
Ruthless - Angel looks like a happy little piglet! So cute. Maybe you should try putting Trixie in the pool and see if she'll crack a smile too? Pixie Meg - LOVE that first pic of Oberon! He's adorabubble, I just want to kiss that long nose of his! Ashli - Great pics. I especially like the first and last ones.

Keeping Working Breeds Or Big Dogs In Small Spaces
gila replied to dee lee's topic in General Dog Discussion
I don't think it would be cruel provided exercise and mental stimulation is provided. And you're obviously planning to do that. I have a BC x Kelpie in an average sized backyard. He doesn't self-exercise or really utilise the space AT ALL. If he had an acre it would make no difference to him. But we walk, train, play games etc. and that is what makes him happy. -
I love dogs, but I'm wary of dogs when I'm out and about unless they are obviously well-behaved and under the control of their owners. I usually have my dog with me though, and being wary of other dogs is more for his sake than mine. He doesn't like rude dogs getting up in his face. I hope people don't think I'm scared of dogs cos I'm Asian. And if I'm staring at your big Rottie or Shep or something I'm just admiring him/her

lol! She's gorgeous of course, but YOU took the photo, you should be proud of yourself!
-
Pandii I love your latest photos (all the way back on pg 14!), especially the first one. I like the light and the fact that she (your daughter?) looks so relaxed and natural ;)
-
I bet he's gonna regret saying that! Great photo; he looks very contemplative (is that a word??).

Oh gawd I actually got tears in my eyes when I looked at that His face is just beautiful.

Awww looks like they had a fun day! I like the third pic with Lacy and Sonic. It kinda looks like a couple of kids in the playground, moments before one of them says "will you be my friend?"
-
Thanks guys! TLC I have a Nikon D60 (I did answer in the other thread ). I'm glad you think my photos are clear and sharp...you have no idea how many shots I have to take before I get a good one though! I could just cry sometimes when I try to get a sharp photo, check it on the LCD display and think it's ok and then look at it on the computer and it's crap lol.

THanks ruthless. I did figure it out in the end. The first time I think I tried to save it to it's original folder and it didn't work. But I managed to save it to My Pictures and then move it into the right folder from there. What is export with preset?
-
We're always teasing Spence and calling him "short ass" so I had this idea to capture that in a photo.
-
Okay I'm probably gonna sound like a complete numpty here...but how do you save photos that you've edited in Lightroom? I mean save it into 'My Pictures'? I tried the export thingo but it didn't work. The only way I can do it is to send it to photoshop and then save it from there. And it looks weird in PS....way oversharpened. Other than that, I am liking this program a lot! I downloaded Lightroom Beta from the link kja posted ETA: No wait..I can't even save it from PS. Not as a JPEG anyway.

Maybe it had something to do with the vego diet? Weakened immune system? Who knows....
-
hey that's really cool! how do you do that? I've tried doing stuff in paint and I suck!

Lol Spencer is the same as Kaos. He usually gets told off for barking at stuff so when I tell him to speak he'll somtimes just open and close his mouth without making any sound. Then when I keep telling him to speak he'll do a teeny little wuff. I have to say "c'mon BIG speak!" to get him to do a proper bark. He still has no problem barking when I don't want him to though

Thanks TLC. Yep I took the pic using my Nikon D60. f/6.3, 1/25sec, ISO 800. And I did some stuff in photoshop; don't ask what - I just fiddle till the photo looks how I want it lol. Spencer wasn't too enthusiastic, he kept yawning. But it actually worked to my advantage cos he looked like he was going to take a bite out of the arm Here's one of the outtakes..

Wow! That first pic is awesome dieseldog!
-
Nawww he's so pretty!
-
Lol I don't know if anyone would turn up tho! My friends think I'm weird enough as it is..
-
He says I over-cooked the arm and it was rubbery

Nice work TLC! I really like the second version with the black background. Only suggestion is to make sure all the pics sit level with each other. Tully's pic sits a bit lower than the others atm.

Lol my dog does that too! It's like a plane retracting its wheels after take-off. He just pulls his legs up into his body and thumps to the floor. He makes an "ummph!" sound as he lands too
