I have UV filters on a couple of my lenses. I haven't noticed any "horrid artifacts" on any of my photos

I ordered my D90 from DWI on Monday. Order status is "dispatching soon". I'm hoping they've sent it and just haven't updated my order status. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow and I have to wait the whole weekend, it'll kill me!

It was ACA though Kirislin. They're not exactly renowned for impeccable and insightful journalism

Those wedding pics are really nice lic! Here's a photo I took of Spence yesterday. He was sitting in a sunbeam in the backyard. I like that his eyes are closed.

Yep, vet now. Even if she's not showing signs of discomfort yet, the distended abdomen would have me worried about bloat. If it's bloat she'll die if she doesn't get treatment ASAP.

From what they are saying is the dog was previously mistreeated, so I doubt a run away kids was involved Having fleas in the past is hardly an indication of mistreatment. Especially when they go on to say that the dog is "actually quite a healthy little guy". Whoever dumped the dogs is a scumbag, but it's silly to just assume it was the dogs' owners and that the dogs have been mistreated all their lives.

Beautiful! Whippets and Greys just look so magnificent when they're running flat out.

Well done! I'm so excited for you!

I like your explanations of Stafford colour genetics. You make it very easy to understand.

I don't know if feeding separately would cause resource guarding. I think the behaviour is probably already there, but you wouldn't see it because the dog has nothing to guard against IYKWIM? When I was working at a boarding kennel we had a Golden Retriever come in. He was fine with people and other dogs. But when it came to dinner time, he would scoff his food and then lunge, bark and growl at the dog eating in the next kennel. He was from a single dog household and we had to warn his owners about it in case they ever got another dog. The owners had never seen him display that behaviour and were shocked when we told them.

Thanks guys. It's amazing how much you can love a tiny little animal like a mouse. She had her own funny little personality. Her sister Jethro is the naughty mischievous one. Leroy was more shy and cautious, but she would usually follow Jethro's lead and get into mischief too.

This morning I had to take my little mouse Leroy to be PTS. She was sick, not eating or drinking, and very lethargic. She'd been to the vet on Friday and I tried to hand feed her, but she just faded away in two days. I wish I could have done more for you little Leroy. I'll miss you little moose. With her sister Jethro (left).

Lol I have to say though, that in some of your photos Cooper does look a bit like a dignified old gentleman with a very impressive moustache.

My boy is the same! He is very independent and will usually go and lie by himself in the hallway or by the front door instead of staying in the same room as me. But I agree with what showdog said. Even though Spence isn't the most affectionate dog, he respects me. And I think when you have a dog that is independent it makes their little displays of affection even more special. When Spence comes to sit by me and lean on me, or when he gives my hand a little lick, or when he looks up and touches my hand with his nose when we're walking, it's really special and I appreciate it more than I think I would if he was super affectionate and all over me all the time.

I think Zorro looks very happy with his new accomodation! Either that or he wants to eat your camera
