I use the same action as MD, though perhaps not as 'extreme' as that. He is really good on doing it with words alone so i just use the action as a reinforcement to the command.

Greyhounds are allowed. There are a few running. If the area is still fully enclosed do they still have to be on a lead? (just a general question)

K9: Ok, the whisper is at this point, 1 - 2 days workshop with another training business, that will mean they will sell the tickets & anyone can go, in the Melbourne city area sort of.. Also possibly a 3 day retriever seminar, also private consults, also the Ballarat workshop & one very special day that has yet to be confirmed, the events on this day will be the best yet... Looks like I will be living there huh? Sounds great, dont forget to keep us updated as i am definately wanting to come to a few of those......whatever the special thing is im in for it, i love surprises lol How long do private consults usually go for?

Steve, what else are you doing while down in Victoria? I would love for you too actually show me how to train in drive with my two dogs so would be interested if you are doing private sessions.

I pay $35 a year, there is no extra fees every weekend. Thats for agility, flyball and obedience

Not sure if this has been suggested or tried, but add hot or cold water (depending on weather) to the dry kibble, either serve straight up or wait till the food absorbs some water. I have a really fussy slow eating dog and ive tried EVERY brand there is in Victoria but he was still not overly happy eating and he has a fast metabolism so its hard to keep on weight not good when he is a show dog LOL but this way he actually enjoys eating and will finish quicker. Plus in winter when dogs drink less he gets more water in him too. Like i said not sure if youve tried it but its worth a shot (and cheap!!) if you havent.
