  1. Huh? Its called a challenge. Nova is one of the smartest dogs i know and he has taken me 3 YEARS to get up too a level worthy of competiting in Flyball. You are just too used to eager to please, quick to learn dogs like Moses.
  2. Yep Novas favourite is the tunnel for some reason as well, he goes that fast through it he once pulled the tunnel out of the pegs and went rolling a bit LOL He also enjoys the weavers actually i think he really just enjoys agility as a whole Darcy doesnt have a favourite yet, he just likes the running around LOL
  3. I teach the same as you, 2 on 2 off for all contacts except the see saw. One dog would react very badly if he did a 1 on 3 off by accident in the training stage and quite possibly never do well on it again. The other would react but not as badly and its not a chance i want too take. Personally i train them so they arent allowed off until it has stopped completely. No problems so far. IMO i dont think the dog will get confused as this is the only piece of equipment that moves while they are on it, so they would realise its a different activity all together, which is how i train it. I am lucky as both my dogs are of a weight were they have too touch the contact too actually make the see saw go down LOL
  4. I can see it now, had too download a later version. Wow is all i can say, that entry into the weavers!!! I loved the see saw though, two on two off, what a great team
  5. I cant download it either and i have Real Player
  6. Those are pretty nice, could make one at home though. Sorry too go a little OT but if a dog of that height is stepping up like that, sort of like a restrained jumping, would a smaller dog also do the same thing?
  7. A ball ejector? LOL That sounds pretty good actually.
  8. I am with CTD, as much as that dog looked fantastic its gait was very annoying and distracting. Also looks like the dog is crowding the handler. Otherwise i loved it, what a great example of drive training especially the send away :D
  9. I know, they are $4 a kilo for necks at the Coles i work at!! I tell most of the people coming through where to buy them heaps cheaper, they are all pretty grateful as most of them have large dogs so would go through heaps LOL
  10. If it doesnt matter why was this all started in the first place? Respectable trainers told you too see a different trainer, and yet you continue with this "trainer". If you want whats best for Chewy go too K9 Force. A proper trainer who will help without using outdated methods.
  11. LOL thats what mine do as well hahaha, funny thing is 80% of our house is tiles including right near the back door, so once given the release word they try too run around but end up sliding everywhere usually into the laundry door They calm down once they realise they arent going anywhere fast and yet they do it every single time!! If i open the door and they dont notice it is always Nova who enters first and if he doesnt come out after about 5 minutes Darcy enters LOL I have one release word for all dogs and yes ive noticed they lose manners when together. When i have a foster i love sitting there just watching how they interact, mine dont really bother with each other much but if there is a new dog its amazing too watch all the body language used.
  12. Will have too track this book down, i dont read that many books i learn quicker by watching, but i might try this one. Argh i hate barking dogs too at competitions!! It would drive me nutty too have a dog barking the entire way around, at flyball our team is one if not the quietest team there the whole day. We all feel the same way about barking
  13. Perhaps you are the idiot to post that c**p you just did, how do you know it was someone on here? Think about what you are saying before you hit the reply button. There is no point in swearing either, that will get you know where only have alot of people think you are the idiot. Fearing for her safety? Pssh yeah sure, what a crock.
  14. That sucks, i was thinking light blue or red with black, but thats just me
  15. Ohh paint them in nice weird colours.
  16. Wow those are amazing!! I wanted too make jumps but i am challenged in that way LOL Yep all you need now is a box and you are set!
  17. LOL I am not actually sure if i am going to Wodonga now, i think we may have too many dogs for one team and not enough for two. If not and entries havent closed i will enter with you LOL that will be fun. Is it still forecasted too be 38 tomorrow?
  18. Showing i am fine with, but obedience is a completely different matter all together LOL I think that one is in Wodonga. When do entries for Southern close?
  19. Sounds good Erny, i might go see him next Wednesday, will ring in the morning too confirm.
  20. Thats the one i was going too enter until i realise that there is a flyball comp that day...ohh well. There are different entry forms for obedience and agility trials. You can get them from the VCA office. Enter it pretty much the same way as shows, the schedule is usually in VicDog.
  21. Wow excellent!! I wasnt watching the times with him, i was watching him LOL it did seem though that he was faster. Hehe i was standing behind Sharon while she was taking some photos and i could hear "damn missed him again" and muttering something about getting his butt?
