Thanks Skyes Dalimit, much appriciated. But let me know if you come across another problem or you can't solve this one than you can have your spot back!
-
Does not matter, I knew I was late. please put me on the stand-by list. If there is more interest you can put my name down for the monday. 12-2 or 2-4 has my preference....
-
Would like to book in too (I know late notice) but 4-6 does not suit me as I have to pick up the kids from childcare @ 4.30 -5pm at latest. Any body want to change times??? If not I will come and watch.
-
And if you suspect any water in the ears, the dog will shake it's head and shake (hopefully) the water out. If it happens clean the ears with a babywipe and epi-otic or Leo earcleaner

Because it is summer cup you do 3 courses over 3 month and the best 2 count. At discretion of the judge we were allowed to view our points... Kila and Pepper both had 83 wich is lower than normal but that's probably because we had a new judge... Tybrax has a pit bull so she won't be coming, she might come to watch if she can find a ride from the gold coast.
-
if you want you can stay at my place, I have a grannyflat with bathroom
-
The next one is on the 16th Januari!! so write it down on you calender now! Pepper had a good run, escaped twice but surprisingly not points lost... Kila had a great run too. Unfortunally we had some showers but it was a good morning. Nice and cool

I spoke to a vet in Manly (Brisbane) and she said that titers are more expensive than the actual vacin and therefor not populair. She did not know wether it was availeble in Aus or not (she's english)
-
Is anybody coming from the Gold Coast to lurecoursing?A if so can you give Tybrax a ride???
-
Simply said; the dog is chasing a plastic bag and the dog who runs best (not fastest) wins a price. They look for entosiasm (sp), they way they run, stretching out ect. have a look on the website posted on page 1. And it is great fun! To everybody, does warwick have a website as well???
-
They expect showers and 29C so perfect racing weather

I probably choose to watch as well unless Steve can help me with a Dalmatian who loves running away (she returns at own lesure)
-
Ill be there again, with 2 maybe 3 4-legged kids and 2 2-legged kids. My friend will be there aswell and you can hear her high pinched voice from far.....

The problem starts if you make a phone booking in where you can't see the dog. I know a there are a lot of hopeless mobile groomers out there. We call them backyarders. you see them coming out in spring and hybernate over winter. There are only very few really proffesionals. APM is one of them (and I think the best ), Hydrodog and James are others. Even within these organisations you have "rotten apples" therefor at APM you get a check every year to see wether you are still up to scratch. No offence but you also have rotten groomers working in salons. I love my job and am glad to hear you love yours :D

Forgot to add, In the prize is following included: fully equiped trailer compulsery training, uniform if you buy a new area $700 p/w garanteed income for 10 wks incl. up to $3000 for advertising your own exclusive area For more info contact Mark Walham on 1300 369369 He is more than happy to have a talk and send you some free info. This way you can make up yourself wether it is worth it.

It cost you minimum of $20.000 to buy into APM depending on wether you buy an eccisting area or a new area and yes I feel it is worth it. We go to your house, was the dog, clip the nails if nessecary, wash the dog in enviromently friendly products specially develloped for APM, clean ears and eyes partial blow dry, deodorant, brush, treat, optional aroma therapie, full blow dry (depending on your area, down south it is included in the prize) and medicated shampoos. Every fransise cost that much to buy into. I think hydrodog is even more expensive. APM has a proven system that works now for 14 yrs and is the first francise in this area (grooming) and also the largest in Australia maybe even in the world. We dont clip and the good thing is that we can predict how long a job takes while if you clip you can't. What means that you can wash up to 25-30 dogs a day, depending on dogs, travel time ect.

He steve, I send an email to that lady but she has not replied yet???

If you want more info about Aussie Pooch you can PM me. I am one of their francisees and really love my job

1. what do you feed? ATM Purina One dry biscuits 2. how often? 5-6 times a week 3. how much? 2 cups for gsd x; 1 3/4 cup for Dali; 1 closed handfull for Dachshund 4. what breed, age, sex and weight is your pet? GSD x; male desexed 7 1/2 yrs 35kg Dalmatian female desexed almost 3yrs 19 kg Dachshund female desexed 10 yrs 6kg 5. where do you purchase your ingredients from? Coles or Woolworth (when back on Hills: Whole saler) 6. have you always fed your dog this diet, or did you change over to it gradually? if yes, how did your dog react? Changed over from Hills Sience Diet as I got Purina for free from work. Tried Cobber but coat was less shiny and dogs had less energy so now back on Purina One and probably changing back to Hills as I can get it wholesale. 7. what have been the advantages and disadvantages? Cleans the teath, know how much they eat and what they eat. Easy to prepare, saving a lot of time. 8. have you seen changes in your dog, ie. coat, energy levels? see question 6.
-
Personally I like Royal Canin best but is difficult and expensive to get. Atm my dogs are on digger but don't really like it but is very cheap and no additives ($23/20kg). I probably change to Purina One as soon as I finished the back, their coat was a lot better on that.

One thing I would urge everybody to do who has problems with the Frontline. Please call them so they can fix the problem. They are very helpfull and it is a toll free number. (1800-808691, 24/7). Please help them to get the statistics right!
-
I have an independent article (in the car lol) about the most important flea products on the market (except for advocat as that is too new). It is scientificly (sp?) proven that Frontline works the best but unfortunally that is not always true (practicly speaking). But if you ring the Frontline Hotline on 1800 808691 they are always there (24/7) to help and give advice! If you get their answering machine just leave a message and they will call back (they did twice when I rang). I've heard that if the problem does not disapear they even come out to you (where possible) to check where the problem might be....

How Many Dolers Feed BARF As A Result Of DOL?
Dali-love replied to Ciara's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I learned a lot about BARF on DOL but will keep on feeding a commercial diet due to lack of time. (and my dogs are doing well on it)
