The Warrnambool show is usually in early feb, i'm not bothering with it anymore cos the judges they have been getting are crap i have a feeling their entries have been dropping too, so maybe they are looking at joining up with someone else somewhere else ??? Chata, if you look at her closely you will be able to see the contactions when they start i did this with cattle , sheep, and dogs, its a bloody pest actually cos then i would have to wait hours for something to actually happen lol..im not very good at waiting, ;) the puppies will be lining up inside for the birth , think of them as all hanging onto a rope :D Thanks Tenties! The bitch hasn't changed her behaviour much, she's a tad lethargic compared to the usual and has been a finicky eater during the last 3 weeks, so her refusal of food is a difficult point to go by. Will have to wait patiently for the next few hour and see how its all progressing...

Hi Chata, Bitches normally drop their temp one to two days before whelping some are different ....it is written in books etc but that is really to cover the mojority..there are always bitches who dont conform to the "usual" vets "usually wont look at a bitch unles she is "over" her due date and is having contractions but has not produced anything ? i have never taken a temp because i usually pick up on little things that are different in the bitches demeanor, i would give your friends bitch 24hrs or so from when you took the temp she will most likely get going after that ? oh and they " usually " refuse food but i have a couple who would happily continue to eat as long as i was happy to keep giving it to them lol....all bitches are different you just take note of their behavior so you know what to expect next time . happy whelping .....

Little BJ has just left with his new owners, he wasnt going to get in their car as he knew it was the wrong one ive had a bit of a sook over him going , unbelievable!! he had really wormed his way into my heart i think, i will miss him lots

I think i have sold BJ a chap saw my profile pic on another site and fell in love with him so contacted me on my FB , it is no use holding on to him as his bite is almost level but im still very much attached to him , i hate breeding dog's

Tenties I have some baby Bearded Dragons too... equally as cute. Awwwww dont get me going , one look and i will be hooked on those little buggars, i havent got a tank as yet , could have had ( still could have lol ) a 3 ft one but 4 ft keeps ringing in my ears lol whats the smallest for a baby ?? although i have chickens to buy for first they have to be kept warm as well but i can do that alot cheaper

Well, went to Melbourne again for another eye appointment yesterday, i kicked up a stink about going down there all the time and nothing being done ???, ( just milking Medicare i think ? ) well they hopped to it and have decided to do another op in November, i'm all nervous now i've also got a script for tablets to try to see if they help the other eye, they are $50 a month, dont come on the list have to pay full price Oh well, i sort of cant wait although i'm not looking forward to the black eye CB, i am very interested in them but would like some of the others first, dont know if i should hatch any out until i've had the op as my Mum would have to look after them for the night, i will see what happens and get in touch....

Ha Ha JJ, i didnt go back to get it should have i know but i just ran out of money, i get sick of getting petrol sometimes JJ, what sort of Incubator have you got ? saw some ripper Reptile ones on E-Bay i almost bought a Hovabator the other night , it does Repiles AND Chickens , could have timed it right for both to hatch together , that would be the food sorted ;)

I have them done by Craig. If not done correctly they can re-grow within weeks. I had so many people with my last litter request that they NOT be removed, that I have left them on these pups. None of this litter are destined for the ring. Peoples attitudes are changing. The general public are beginning to see little difference between docking tails and removing dew-claws. Must say it disappoints me a little. It will disappoint them too the day they catch them on something and get ripped off i had always done mine as i did them better than my vet less blood and no fiddle farting around ;) mine is now trying to wrap sticky tape around the leg to stop the bleeding if i ever have more pups i will be doing them under his supervision i feel oh got off track, it seems its against the law to do them yourself now more money to vets

tlc.......no hocks or trotters......i use plain old bacon bones the meatiest i can get and strip the meat off when all is cooked , meat is shredded and mixed through soup... Mawson, you really would not want to be around this house after cooking a boiler full of pea n ham... Oh and by the way peeps, i have a Drake here who would like some female company, if you know of anyone who has large breed ducks let me know please ?? they have to be large breed as "Plucka " is a Rouen x and is HUGE...

If it doesnt rain it bloody pours, was at Mums picking up the fur kids who stayed home and their pens/kennels when i tripped and landed on my knee which has been playing up, well by bedtime i just couldnt bend it, woke up during the night and rolled over to get out for the loo and i nearly screamed the house down i cant bend it or twist it, it bloody hurts.....if i had a saw i think i would have cut it off, had lots to do today but have to change my plans a bit as i cant drive the car ( Manual ) oh well maybe the replacement will happen sooner rather than later now

Hi all, well the show has been run and won and im afraid there was no love for us i didnt really want to go to it as i'm sick as a dog with a gastro type bug , havent had anything to eat since lunchtime yesterday but we are supposed to be going out for the presentation dinner at 7 its already paid for so i dont really want to waste it,,,, oh and i didnt mention that I HATE ADELAIDE ITS WORSE THAN MELBOURNE !!!

Mine brought me luck straight off, the 2 shows i used them at my young pup ( just in Minor )got 2 challenges , one against a much older Best in group winner :D im using them at our breed national in Adelaide this week as well hoping they will bring us luck there .
