  1. Training is usually cancelled if its raining catsndogs or extremely hot or sometimes if a show is on that day and its a public holiday alot of the people who attend are usually entered in them, oh and if you go get your brag ready as they have show brag just before morning tea begins if you can try and ring Lorraine and Ron Bell, sorry i dont have their number here but they live not too far from the grounds they will fill you in on everything you need to know about the training :D
  2. Sorry to hear that Tentie...wasnt Rural Pug at the show? Yes, saw RP twice once when i got there and then when she and fellow pug exhibitor were leaving , they had both suffered from heatstroke or simular so were heading back to their accomodation...
  3. How dissapointing for you, from what I had read you went to a lot of trouble and expense please dont be too mad, gee how hot was today hoping tomorrow will be a little cooler when are you going to show your little baby tentie they are so cute Monster i cant show my boy until the VCA get their finger out and do his paperwork i got the poor little mite vaccinated and microchipped at 7 1/2 weeks for nothing they said the papers would be done last week but nothing showed up little Soloman is just being one of the bigger kids at the moment he thinks its wonderful he even got to go outback with them this morning to toilet its so funny watching a baby boy, they sniff a spot that everyone has wee'd on and they sidle up to it as if to lift the leg..... but then squat
  4. I was on the show grounds side under the tree's just up from the gate..
  5. How come i always miss out on the " happenings " in here who was it sending you pm's JJ and who was it that " friended " you tlc ????........ The BBQ is not going to be held anymore as it costs me money in fuel plus gas etc and the lugging of the stuff ....just for no one to turn up ? yep thats right, no one turned up.... i unloaded the ute on my own ,ate lunch on my own , and reloaded the ute on my own again RP and her friend had a good enough excuse they got heat stroke so went back to their cabin. but never again sorry
  6. well, the BBQ is NOT going to be offered ever again as this year no one bothered to show up, it costs me money to get there and i also bring a table and supply the BBQ so no more sorry
  7. Well, its nearly time saw some early arrivers go through Terang this evening glad i didnt have to unpack or walk dogs in this heat although it was probably cooler in Warrnambool, BBQ is packed and ready on the ute, i really need some kind of hoist i think as this lifting isnt doing me any good ?? oh well good luck to everyone entered tomorrow have fun and if you have time then pop over to the BBQ and say hello .. :D
  8. Oh bugga i bowed to Temptation, now i wish i hadnt... and to make it worse my own dogs were listening and watching it as well...... ;)
  9. Vacuna, as one who is ex Geelong therefore ex Pettite Park Show Training i can assure you that Pettite Park is a ripper to attend, they change who ever is going over the dogs about every 10 minutes and its mostly judges who are doing it, its one thing i really miss being down here if you do go tell them Linda and the Tenties say hello !
  10. Cos i couldnt rattle you out of hiding all week i have told people to head along the showgrounds side of the friendlies and we would be along there somewhere ? if it doesnt suit im sorry but we cant get any closer to the rings ? im not all that hopeful of anyone turning up so i might have to use the table to have a snooze on ?? ;)
  11. Vacuna, the show is held at a footy oval the rings are set up in the middle of the oval plenty of room all around but no tree's for shade of course  you would have to bring your own...shade that is not tree ...... ;) And i'm with JJ too Warrnambool has never been sweltering and seems to be a bit cooler on the day than what is predicted ;) will probably rain  or be so windy we all blow away , dont get me wrong its a lovely place i grew up there i just choose to live out of town....
  12. Oh i can so relate to this  but mine took around 3/4 days to come back, when i saw the envelope i just thought phew i must have got mine in just in time ,.....and that sec is right on the ball doing everything ;) and talk about confused when i opened the envelope  just kept telling myself i was bloody irish
  13. Crackers, that would be Beth that you spoke to ?.... we dont have the BBQ on the oval as last year she said no so we just have it somewhere else on the grounds :D As for Noorat its no good asking to enter with out the reg being back as you can not enter as reg pending anymore, i would have otherwise ;)
  14. One must'nt forget the Rumpy , that is a puppy born with no tail, some puppies from 2 NBT Parents can be born with incomplete spines lack of Anus etc, ive never had any probs with the NBT gene and all but one of my dogs are NBT i firmly believe those dogs that have had problems with the NBT gene have come down from breeds who dont actually have the gene in there history i think in the cases where it has shown up in some non traditional docked breeds and mistaken for the NBT gene it is an actual fault and therefore causes problems for the affected dog down the track ???
  15. RURAL PUG , where art thou RURAL PUG !!!!!! Where abouts would you like the BBQ set up Madam ??????
  16. Me smells a rat ???? take long enough and maybe breeders will all pay the extra to get their paper work back well not this big brown duck ....gee they'd be rolling in it if we all caved eh ???????
  17. Yes the other Sue had gone , you had me worried that she had returned
  18. My one good eye has now been poked out with a stick....shivers......lol im never showing again ...ive never worn a skirt in the ring but im never showing again in case i see something like this lol
  19. Well just an update, my friend rang the VCA and was told they only recieved the paperwork on the 6th , well it was sent the week before they told her it would be Friday but nothing arrived My thoughts on the matter ....... If they dont want Babies entered in show's as * Pending * they should get there bums into gear and get paperwork done and back to owners/breeders so they can be entered in shows at 3 mths ?? my little fella was Vaccinated and microchipped at 7 1/2 weeks so he could be in the ring at 12 weeks thinking his paperwork would be back well and truly in time not happy Jan.
  20. Tenties I will be leaning on you to site the BBQ a tad closer to the rings this year, entry is a bit down they might be finished by lunchtime . I volunteer to help lug the BBQ from your excellent ute!! ETA - I am so glad that those of us on the dole are welcome! RP, i am a reasonable person, i try to make things easier for those at a disadvantage, being on the dole is of course a great disadvantage thats why i invited you
  21. Dont forget to pop in to Warrnambool Vic Dolers BBQ on the Saturday, BYO everything except the BBQ and a table, come meet up with other dolers and put a face to the name :D everyone is Welcome regardless of being on dole or not BBQ area will be announced during the week prior to the show :D
