  1. [quote name='Pandii' date='11th Mar 2009 - 10:56 AM' post='3493403' Burkies??????? I take it this means your not sure where or what Burkies is ? it is the pub out at Koroit that serves green beer for the day and all that Irish carry on... if peoples would prefer Macies ( sp ) instead it is one of the options.... Had a thought today ( yeah i know dangerous for me )Perhaps we could start our own show class in town it would depend on who is going to show their dog ?? Linda...
  2. What a bugga, No im not in town today saving up for next week ( the Burpday ) do you all feel like going to Burkies or somewhere for lunch next Tuesday ?? let me know if you want to go i like being silly so Burkies is ideal, they celebrate ST Patricks day every year but ive never been. Linda.....
  3. I am from Garvoc at the moment I am originally from Warrnambool though just couldnt get a house close enough when i moved back from Geelong Linda.... PS.... i have already met RJ at her place last week and at the shows at Noorat on the weekend
  4. I wouldn't be to worried about grass allergies, i think it sounds more like a flea allergy i have a boy doing exact same thing at the moment due to a flea plague and i use Advantage on him.. but in saying that i do realise Advantage fails in alot of cases and Frontline is much better in these situations.... I would give him a nice bath and apply Frontline if you can afford to get some at the moment and try to treat your house as well as his bedding. Linda...
  5. Hi Pebble's, i have small dogs too and had the same problem.... instead of buying the big bags of dry i ended up buying Purina Lucky dog mini's from the supermarket which they all love, i even use it as bait in the ring Linda...
  6. And here's another one i feed only frames or thigh's with a small amount of dry and the dogs love it and i only have a small amount of poo's to pick up each day, the dogs look great and keep their weight better this way... Most Girls ( or boy's ) at pet shops parrot fashion things they have heard from other customers and they come out with soooo much tripe sometime's just to make a sale  If anything, it will not be a bone build up it will be sand from the owners throwing their food out in the dirt the body will pass the dirt easily but sometime's the sand seperate's and sink's into that little pouch bit below the outlet of the stomach and it builds up and sometimes cause's the animal to go off their food ( they feel full ) they develop a temp and if nothing is done they will die.... Linda..
  7. Hmmm is Velvet the whiteish soap? Sunlight is very yellow. It's what was used before we had six million choices of soap! is used for washing clothes mainly now, and can sometimes be found on the washbasins in public toilets! No Velvet soap is yellow and has always been used in the laundry Nana always suggested Velvet soap for everything as she said it was so good....
  8. Is Sunlight soap anything like the old Velvet soap ?? also i used to use Sunlight dishwashing liquid on my sons overalls in the wash and it used to get all the oil stains off is the soap the same thing ?? i am going into town tomorrow to get what i need so thought i should ask now.
  9. Yep. What she can't eat, she'll roll in. Her efforts in duck poo produced bright green stains. ;) She's also rolled inside a dead kanga ribcage. :D Oh yummy, im just going to pop out with mine to see if they can do that :p there is a dead koala up the road might go fetch it for the fur kids :p :p

  16. If you have a chicken shop close by you could ask them to sell you their scraps, i pay $7.50 for 20kg ( mostly frames ) other than that you could ask the pet food mob if you can meet them somewhere to pick up your order.... i used to do this as well when i lived 45 minutes out of town. Linda....
