I take it everyone is still recovering ???...... I was thinking today that maybe we could have a BBQ at the Dog Show at the end of January, and each of us bring something and our own meat that we like... i can bring a rice salad and eggs plus supply the BBQ and also maybe the onions ??? what does everyone think ??...yes/no what ?????

Well, ive been to Ballarat and back, got back around 9pm, have had 2 rounds of Roast Pork Sangers with Mustard of course.... YUM...for Dinner ,then just now i had a slice of Cheese Cake with Whipped cream...mmmmmmmmmmmm Came back one dog less and sold Fidget as well, didnt really want to do that but i have to cut down so its what the buyer wants :-( i still get to see her and i can get one of her pups if i want......nearly sold Bundy as well but he just isnt ready for it as yet , all the fur kids had a great day running amuck on a 2 acre fenced for dogs block and are now totally stuffed Hope everyone had a great day and didnt make themselves too ill with over eating

Awwww tlc, geez your a party pooper, mine used to hurl up to a nice cow pat on the farm and just drop and roll in it....it may have been dry on the outside but inside ewwwwwwwwww they thought it was just wonderful..... Lace was just trying to purdy herself up for you, well thats what they think anyway I'm not ready for tomorrow night , never will be i want them to ban Christmas its against my principles

Well i had full intentions of getting up there tlc but i ended up driving my Mum around doing bits and pieces getting them out of the way, my Mum lent her car to the "grandson " and she hasnt got a car any more if you get my drift hope you all had a great walk though, im back into town again tomorrow and again Friday ...yuk... i hate Christmas !!

Well, i am coming into town tlc, but reluctant to go on the walk with you as i dont want to spread the Xmas cough i have 7 now that have had or have it at the moment, but out of 7, 2 have reverse sneezing instead of the rattles ????? never heard or seen these symptoms before, very strange..... i might drive up there and say hello , if i remember.....

Just rang Mum, Her little Dog Tessie Passed away this morning , Mum was with her as she died in bed...Mum is very upset but knew it was coming as Tess had Heart problems and was very old :D RIP Little Tess

Well i dont know if i can make Wednesday now :D I had one of the Dogs come down on Friday Night with what i thought was Kennel Cough, but she only had it for 24 hrs (really bad ) and is hardly making a sound now...then another got the same thing Saturday and another 3 from Saturday arvo till Sunday and one this Morning, about 4 yr ago my friend in Geelong got the vet to come to her place as she thought she had Kennel Cough but i told her it wasnt and the Vet didnt think so either, he felt it was a virus of sorts and what my dogs have now is pretty much the same ,a 24hr virus. Lots of Mucus being brought up and left on the floor ( for someone with bung eyes to step in :D ) they actually sound like they have Broncitis, no loss of Appetite either, i have kept looking for Kennel Cough signs but havent seen any that i recognise throw me some thoughts people, i wish JJ was here so we could bang heads together on this , it helps thrashing some things out.

See tlc Wednesday was my choice i jinxed you I'm sort of wondering if tez's "nice Man " is the same one that helped her drop the Seaside Daisies off he must be a very "Distracting nice Man " as we havent heard all that much from her lately wonder what they have been up to ???

Dont think i will have the petrol tlc which is a bugga cos after yesterday i'm all excited I have to go back to the Eye & Ear at the end of January to put my surgery papers in and to also get the date for surgery YAY....And would you believe the Specialist that i paid $250 to see was there and said he wanted to see me after the others had seen me ? then he said my case was very special so he is going to be there to ensure the right thing is done ( what is needed ) he then told the other doctors that he is a very funny man all this is the first op, there will be another later in the year and then maybe another if needed....i cant wait i really cant...My Chrissy present will be late this year but its going to be the best present ever tez, i forgot to tell you , your seaside daisies decided they didnt like this place they have died off and i havent seen any sign of life as yet maybe the soil is too rich or the taproot got broken ?? shock has got them whatever it is( i think this may be the problem ) will keep waiting for some green to show but i dont hold much hope for that at this stage ....maybe if i give you a bucket at some stage you could plant some in it and then i will transplant soil and all so its less of a shock ???? oh and by the way tez, i think Lunch with the nice man would be nice ;)

Well ho ho ho i went to Camperdown today, to the bank mind you but then couldnt resist stopping at the Bargain Basement i told myself i'd just have a quick look and go Came out of there $35 poorer got 5 dogs a Santa outfit each to wear Chrissy Day only got 5 as they are too small for the bigger dogs im going to Melbourne tomorrow about my Eye's i shouldnt have spent what i did, im a real pain in the butt with that Bargain Basement joint i tell ya,..... might have to lobby for its closure

Tenties, given there are so few of your breed around would it be worth just doing Tenties? Do you have specialties and Nationals around Australia? Sorry, i did try to reply the other day , but i have such a crappy signal here it just wouldnt load the page.... Yes, we do have Specialities for the breed and last year was the first National for the breed which the Victorian Club got to hold , but the breed has got out of hand now because of a squeeky barrow we have a number of different types emerging because of this, i'd like to get a bit of uniformity back....i am a tail set guru , if i can call myself that and i wonder what they teach judges about this as some argue that the tail carried over the back is ok ( the standard says NO to this ) even in the bobs if the tail curves over the back, THIS IS WRONG.... if the dog had a bloody tail it would curl over the back and hang down the side sorry getting carried away i dont know if i could keep my mouth shut at Judges training if they tried to pass faults off as ok i know of others who got held back when they stuck to their guns on faults, it was a case of trainers way or the highway which was wrong, so in affect all judges have to do it one way then revert to their own way of thinking after the exam ?? ...sorry ranting again, cant help mysef today

Yes tlc , Janet and i met Fran and had Dinner with her, it was a very nice relaxing meal at Macies and Fran is a lovely girl ,pity you couldnt get the time off to join us and we really should have asked Mr & Mr's JJ along they would have liked to have met Fran ( as would everyone on the Warrnambool thread i suppose ) great meal, great company.....i even had a cowboy lol.....( drink )

Lizzy, Bundy is the one that i picked up in Geelong on Thursday, he was in Sydney, he had a hair raising trip up there when a baby , put in a dog trailer with older dogs and was a complete wreck by the time he arrived up there, but he seems to remember me and the dogs as he hasnt stopped wagging his body and hasnt been shaking like he was when i picked him up... And no, it doesnt feel like Christmas to me , hasnt the last couple of year's.... i'm just ignoring it hoping it will pass me by....

Well, little Bundy Bum is home, after being so cautious around him, it seems he is not going to be like i was told...yes he is petrified of sudden movement or noises but im getting on top of that with a bit of de-sensitising, im also talking to him from the kitchen at times and when i go out and call him he nearly wiggles himself apart he is such a nicely put together boy , i would have loved to be able to show him, who knows, maybe down the track ??? i got a German Shepherd bitch back into the ring many years ago after being abused, she won groups and everything for me , i just couldnt take her in if the judge wore a coat and hat I need to teach Bundy to lead as well, he just hasnt got a clue what being on a lead is just drops to the ground and does the crocodile roll ;) oh well, the joy's of dogs....

well, i guess there will be no dog's walked tonight ...it's scary out there there is some major flooding between Warrnambool and Terang ,poor Panmure has copped it really bad....just before Panmure a power pole has been struck by lightning and the stunted version is on the ground giving a light show, lots of pretty colour's in Panmure on the right next to the waterhole a large Pine tree has been struck and all one side has been blown apart further up the road on the left the houses are nearly under water and there is water flowing across the road as well...lots of water around everywhere flowing across the roads cos the sides are flooded poor farmers have their hay sitting in the paddocks and in places the hay is sitting in a foot of water
