Melbourne people can get Orijen from 4 paws & more pet supplies. Keilor Park They also send out, if you cant get there. I get both my dogs and cat food from there.

I paid $4.95 for the trial packs, about $69 for the 7 kilo bags and around $109 for the largest bags. I think the cat was round about the same or a touch dearer.

Orijen Is Now Avaliable In Australia
poochie replied to laffi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Orijen is now available in Victoria at 4 paws & more. Bought some today, and liked what I read on the pack and my guys all woofed it down. Bought some sample packs first, just to see what they thought of it. Just put it in a new thread, as I didnt see this one was going -
Yay, Orijen is finally here I just purchased some Orijen grain free food for my woofa's and meow'ers at home from 4 paws & more. Have a friend that swears by it, So I have be waiting patiently for it, to hit down here for so long. I only just bought some small trial packs first to see, And they have gone nuts for it. Even the fussy cat, and believe me thats saying something. The dogs just woofed it down, like I've not fed them before!

I would be having the blood test. Giving advocate over 6 month of age to a dog that might have heart worm can mask the fact, according to my vet. IMO - after doing some research I would never have the yearly injections given, too many side effects from what I read.

I have often wondered that myself. ;) and would one of those eletronic ones (the ones that beep) that humans use in their ears work, Or is that just a no go?

I'll second that eeek.. I am always feeding my guys broccoli if there is left overs

They are changing them from that style of packaging (hamburger) to separate individual pouches, so you have to unwrap each individually. It was easier to bang them apart, well it was for me as my guys liked them frozen.

Cheers Shall go search it up Thanks
-
Hey trisven13. If I do a search, will I find the recipe? Do you follow a particular recipe or just do your own? I have to feed 5 guys and usually only use them for the older girl (15) as she has problems with bones, hard kibble etc. My other guys love them though. Cheers

Thanks Everyone. Our only problem is finding someone who has them in stock today, can find heaps on line or stores offered to ordered in. She reckons she's that desperate she'll wrap him in anything at the moment. Cheers

Ta Just looked them up, It doesnt make them go backwards in the toileting does it? Sorry for all the questions. I just rang her and she said he is still requesting to go outside for a wee, but is marking still inside? She doesn't sew and believe me Im not that clever Cheers

Thanks, I'll let her know of the belly band? he's not an entire male, so not sure if it still works, for that matter dont even know what it is Will do some research. I know the first day she tried positive all day, and I think she lost it a bit the 2nd day. Sick of cleaning, She had him on lead to keep an eye and would yell madly and pick him up and run him outside as soon as he started, but she reckons its like he has an endless supply! No changes in home life anywhere. Thanks for the help. Off to look up belly bands Cheers

She said she has tried GRRing, - Big Time. Enough to send every thing else in the house running. She put him in the laundry away from the others, as a reprimand thats when he marked the washing machine( no jokes) and anything else he could. Last night she felt so mean sticking him in the garage after he had got into the pantry, and she said he has spent the night claiming everything in there? Is this normal or would a trip to the vet be of any help? I have never had to cope with this myself before so am of no help to her. Cheers.

And the boxes are huge They are suppose to be selling rabbit as well now, in replace of the roo. The roo is to become like a prescription diet, so Im guessing the price of the roo will go up.

Hi All, Was wondering if any one can help with a young male JR (10mnths) that has started marking on every thing! Every door frame, the towel stand, the coat rack, the washing machine, table legs, he even got into the pantry and anything he could reach coped it. Even with closing every door, he is marking the walls? It only started 2 days ago, its my sisters dog and it has now become ridiculous. She has tried neutralising any where he's been, but it doesn't make any difference to him. He is one of 3, all have been desexed. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Cheers

Sunday mornings. 9 am onwards. (give them a ring) They have a socialization class/walk first, which is just the best. Went there for over a year and then started working sundays if I didn't, I would certainly still be going there.

Have asked numerous butchers down this way for a while now, in the hopes. If anyone comes across it, in melbourne would love to know Cheers

You need to pluck these hairs from the ears, using ear powder will help. Hi Miranda, Sorry all for going a off topic , But what is the best way to pluck the dogs ear hairs and how does the ear powder work? Cheers
-
Hi sas, Do you just use it only on the day thats required or do you need to give it a day or 2 prior an event. One of my guys gets "sooo" excited at training, he doesn't settle down till the end of the session. Would it take effect a couple of hours before? Tried rescue remedy, but honestly didn't see any change. Cheers

Hi Natalie, If possible I also would like a box of necks (15kgs.) Many Thanks Superminty, I am in Melbourne and would happily share petrol costs with you for delivery. Cheers Edited due to lousy spelling. Not even sure if lousy is spelt right or for that matter even a word :D Oh well!!
